The RV Awning Fabric Replacement by HBN, is an effective way to replace your RV’s awning fabric with a durable alternative. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It feels like a good quality fabric that has a plastic feel to it, making it very durable and waterproof. I’d put the quality in the upper-middle level of the quality scale and guess it’ll survive well, depending on your climate. II. Installation – Expect to spend some time on it. They aren’t that easy to replace if you’ve never done it, but it’s definitely doable for 1st timers. III. Performance – It repeals the sun and rain very effectively and will cut down on the heat as well. It rolls out as smoothly as you can expect and hasn’t had any catches or issues so far. The look is simple and attractive, especially compared to my old outdated one. It’s been very easy to clean because of the vinyl material. Overall, this is a great choice if your awning fabric needs replacing. It looks good and does its job very effectively, leaving me happy with my choice. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. We got caught in a surprise hail storm in the Black HIlls and I couldn't get the awning retracted in time (or at least wasn't willing to get pelted by golfball sized hail to do so). As a result, there are numerous holes in the awning. I've not had the chance to actually install this yet, but did examine it and the material seems just as high quality of the OEM one I need to replace. I'll update this review if there are any issued during or after install. ... show more

I ordered this for an RV that I am remodeling and the fabric is of equal or better quality than what was on the RV originally. Fit and finish is great and relatively simple to replace especially if you have an extra set of hands to help feed it through the track.
