  • Works
I installed this on a 2007 new body style Tahoe, with a 4l60e. This truck never had the tow package so it never had a factory cooler. It lived at 190 degrees on warm days, and sometimes would reach 205-210 degrees on a 90 degree day (no trailer). I bought this cooler strictly for the thermostat, knowing that too cold of fluid is just as bad as too hot of fluid. I’ve put 10k miles on the setup so far and I’m nothing but impressed. Cruise temp never exceeds 175 degrees. The hottest temp I’ve saw so far is 185 degrees, and that was pulling a 14ft lawn trailer with a zero turn lower on the back. ... show more

  • Great value for your money.
This is easy to install and will SAVE YOUR TRANSMISSIONwith today's modern vehicles it's important that temperature stays where they need to be. Not too cold so the template control built into the cooler is a must!

  • Worked until it didn’t.
It was a good little cooler for about two months. Then, near the one of the hose connections, it split… like bad! Bad QC and manufacturing. Could have lead to a far more serious problem if I wouldn’t have caught it when I did. Shame.
