  • Great Beginner/Training Gloves
Size: 12oz Color: Black
Bought these for my daughter, I have Reyes gloves. For the comparison I can honestly say these gloves are well made of excellent materials and solid stitching. The durability aspects will need more time, but out of the package they are well built and as promoted on Amazon. If I were new to boxing and wanted a good glove, with good support, these would fit the bill nicely. However they are pricey, but again you get what you pay for. Starting off any combat sport with poor equipment leads to injuries and less then enjoyable experiences. These gloves have enough room inside for supportive hand wraps, as well as the fastening system designed into the gloves. Snug, tight, and comfortable around the wrist. A little warm after some time from what my daughter has said, but overall enjoyable. No bruising and rubbing, or sore wrist, fingers, or knuckles. The additional stiffened support on the back of the glove is also a great design feature. The only negatives were the somewhat high price and one of the gloves has a slight blemish across one of the gloves out of the box. Not a deal breaker, but my daughter noticed the craftsmanship hit, so the 4-stars for that. On that note, I’d buy these again. My daughter loves them. 👍🏼 ... show more

  • Good gloves but run on the small side
Size: 16oz Color: Black
Firs time use impressions: Overall a really solid glove that offers superb wrist support. The double strap method for the wrist works very well. It also has some nice padding on the back for sparring . There is one major downside to this glove, and the reason why I won't be wearing it again. It runs small/tight for people with larger hands. My hands are fairly long, measuring 8.5 inches from wrist to the end of my middle finger. The glove is just too tight/small and I had to pull my punches a lot during heavy bag work or risk messing up my hands. Also because my fingers are so long, it pushed my knuckles back further back in the glove which prevented them for landing in the right position. I will probably sell this glove to someone else to the gym. Pros: + Great wrist support + Quality made product + Great for advanced to intermediate boxers Cons: - Runs small/tight (I have 8.5" length hands and were uncomfortable) - Padding is a bit hard and I wouldn't recommend for beginners To Hayabusa: Please make a large version (XL version) of this glove for us with bigger hands. The glove needs more space in the fingers and also help with knuckle placement. ... show more

  • Great for bag work and wrist support
Size: 16oz Color: Black
I take a local boxing class that focuses heavily on training with the heavy bag. Before buying these gloves, I found that my hands were extremely raw and that my wrists lacked the support they needed using the rental gloves provided by the gym. These gloves immediately addressed those issues - they feel amazing on your hands and the double wrist support helps protect your wrists from hitting the heavy bag at a bad angle. Lastly, the leather on these gloves just smells amazing. I would highly recommend if you plan on including any sort of bag work into your fitness routine. ... show more

  • Overpriced and under performs.
Size: 12oz Color: White
Learn from my mistake. I bought into the hype and "features" of these gloves. I saw the positive reviews on YouTube and blogs only to find out they were affiliates of Hayabusa. Then I started to do some more in depth research and turns out most serious boxers/mma have nothing good to say about these gloves...and yes, I experienced most of those warnings. First off, these were the only gloves that I have ever experienced any knuckle pain and soreness from. I tried wrapping my hands with more protection, even used the winning gel knuckle gaurds with the wraps (helped a little bit). But at the end of the day the shock absorbing ability of these gloves are terrible. I own 3 other pairs of gloves of the same size I can compare to. (Winning, Fairtex, Cleto Reyes) You literally feel the impact of every punch you throw with these gloves, which then transfers directly into your hands and joints. Second, although the double wrist strap and "splinted support" does offer a little more wrist support (I'm being very generous when I say "little," I barley noticed a difference compared traditional single strap gloves), it positions your arm in an awkward angle. They claim it helps "align your hands with each strike" but it's actually the complete opposite. The only good thing I can say about these gloves are they look cool, but that's subjective. I understand why this brand has a negative reputation amongst serious and experienced fighters. To sum it up, I really tried to use these gloves. I gave it a month of training 4 times a week with loads of heavy bag and pad work but the experience just got worse and worse. The gloves are literally underneath a pile of clothes in my closet now. Every glove I own even ones less than half the price are better in every way. I have a friend that wants to start training muay thai and I don't want to even give these gloves to him for free because it's that bad, especially for a beginner. Here's my advice, if you are looking at these gloves and willing to spend close to $200 for a pair this is what I would do. 1) Save your money. Depending on what you train, for example muay thai, purchase a pair of fairtex, twins, windy, literally any thai company for close to 1/3 the price. That way you can buy 2 pairs of different sizes. If your a boxer look into the Ring to Cage C-17 for half the price. 2) If you want something in the similar price range and that actually offers protection look into rival (they have cool looking designs and actually offer great gloves with models around the same price) I've tried their rs100...and way better. Have never wrote a review this long before but I was really undwhelmed with these gloves especially for the price. But that's on me, should have done more research. Just wanted to let you guys know that there are plenty of better options available at around the same price or even half the price. ... show more

  • Very good bag gloves.
Size: 16oz Color: Black
With the double hook and loop fasteners, it is possible to cinch up the gloves tight enough to use without wraps - but use wraps anyway. You have money for the gloves, buy and use wraps. I do like my RingSide IMF gloves a little better for bag work, but the Ringside gloves just don't hold up as well as the Hayabusa T3 Kanpeki. Not sure if the shape and the construction of the gloves allow me to punch harder or have effectively changed the wrist/fist alignment, but after significant bag work, my wrists need longer to recover than when using the Ringside IMF gloves. The grip bar is nice, and the thumb alignment/depth takes a few outings to get adapted to. Would buy again - those classic brown ones look great, the 16oz ones are made of unobtanium though. ... show more
