Not a boxer, but do 30 minutes on the heavy bag every other day. Tried cheap gloves with good prewraps, but after a few uses my hands always hurt and were bruised. These gloves are way more expensive than I ever intended to spend, but they are so comfortable. Don’t need prewraps, and my knuckles feel perfect after every session. The double wrist strap closures are really nice. The extra money was well worth the comfort i feel during use and after. 5’6”, 145lbs, male. I am leaving a detailed review because other people should buy these, they’re remarkable. I wanted to throw with speed since I’m smaller and I tried a Venom pair, they sucked. Just finished my first session with these. They have double wrist straps, incredible. I can throw dangerously hard on any bag and my hands and wrists are 100% supported. I’m passionate about boxing as a hobby and I am humbled by what Hayabusa has made with these gloves. They should be truly proud of themselves. I am in awe and I am excited to continue breaking them in and throw with full power without hesitation. I might even grab these in 14oz too. A+++. Lastly, because I spent more on these, I also got their $20 premium wraps. Those, too, are unreal. These price points are higher but the value is there. It’s really important to product your hands.     • Great boxing glove - amazing cloth thumb for wiping sweat

Many boxing gloves in the end are just boxing gloves. These are also just boxing gloves, however the most important thing about them in my opinion are the cloth thumbs. I sweat a lot when training/sparring, and I have destroyed the integrity of all my past gloves with all my sweat despite trying to keep them clean afterwards. The cloth thumb on these gloves allows me to wipe my sweat and keep my gloves mostly dry and clean because of it. This extends the lives of these gloves for me so much. My first pair were Cleto Reyes, and while I loved them, they started breaking down due to my sweat after about a year. My first pair of T3s are still perfectly useable 3 years later, and the only isse with them is that the velcro is starting to wear out and the extended tag on the velcro to grab the strap has broken. That leads me to the only negative I've got for the gloves; the double strap. This isn't a huge negative, just a slight annoyance. It can be a hassle having to constantly secure both straps, and I don't necessarily feel like it's anymore secure than it would be without the second strap. I'm sure it can help some, and I've gotten used to strapping up the gloves on my own at this point. Like I said at the end of the last paragraph, the rubber extended tag from the velcro broke on my first pair, and that's because I'd always use my teeth to grab that part and strap up. The gloves are actually pretty nimble for boxing gloves, so I've figured out how to grab the straps with my other glove which should help prevent the tag from breaking. Overall, I don't ever plan on buying any other gloves besides these T3's because of how pleased I am with them. ... show more

Far from the average boxing glove, the wrist and knuckle support are superior to any boxing glove I’ve ever had. After 30 years over martial arts experience, I can honestly say this is the best pair of gloves I’ve owned.

Don't get it twisted, these gloves are not magic, and you can still roll a punch off the bag the wrong way. That being said, for anyone who's an amateur, you're going to notice a difference between these and those fifty dollar gloves you've been using. The back and padding are much stiffer. The "double lock" system is great but takes a little getting used to. Padding feels harder but more comfortable than cheap gloves of that makes sense. ... show more
