I mounted this scope on my Crossman Fire and once zeroed it is awesome! Hitting targets out to 100 ft with quarter grouping so far on a .177 7.4 grain pellets. The range focus and magnification are great. One tip, the objective bell is a good-sized diameter so buy high mounts, I initially tried mid height mounts, and the bell was pinned so tight to the rifle that it could not be adjusted, which you will definitely want to do when shooting a nearer and further distances. ... show more

Just received this scope. Very well made, great feel and action for a scope in this price range. Easy to mount. I just zeroed the scope today on my Umarex 850 co2 rifle. Right out of the box I got less than dime size groupings, putting pellets in the same holes. Only took three groups to perfectly zero. 1/4 MOA adjustments were precise and accurate. This is my first Hawke scope. I own a number of good scopes. Leupold, Athlon, Sightron, Zeiss— so I know what good glass is. I didn’t expect this Hawke to fall in that class but it does. I bought this to install on a PCP air rifle. Perfect match.

I finally got around to reviewing and ordering another brand for my air rifle. I thought it was mounted properly, but when I tried to zero it, it shot 3" low, 1" left AT 30 FEET. I could not get the elevation to bring it up. UPDATE: Customer Service at Hawke exchanged some ideas with me about the problem. Turns out I reversed the front claw during assembly (put it on upside down). This raised the scope a bit in the front, sending pellets low. I fixed my mistake and the scope now performs well. "Dandy Little Scope," are the first words that pop in my head when I think of this Hawke scope. All my "real" rifles have Leupold Gold Ring scopes on them. Some of those Leupold's are more than 30-years old. But, as much as I am loyal to Leupold, those scopes are not air gun scopes. Hawke makes air gun scopes that can cope with the double recoil of an air rifle. The view through this Hawke scope is crystal clear and dependable. Again, "A Dandy Little Scope." (PS: The scope is not little. Its dimensions are nearly identical to the 3-9 Leupold scope in my 7mm Magnum. The difference is that the Hawke has far greater clarity of vision at ranges under 30 yards.) ... show more

This scope is fantastic and works flawlessly on my .25 Hatsan break barrel. Not once has it drifted off center. Now that it’s summer and hot, I will test drifting and see if that has any effect.
