I like the deer stand fine. It's what I ordered. However, I paid rush delivery price of $13.80 extra to get the brackets 14 days ago. Still don't have the brackets. Not happy. UPDATE- So I spoke with amazon, they canceled the order and refunded the money because they claim the items were "lost in transit". Then, I get a notice from them telling me to return the items when I receive them. WHAT? I need the items.....I thought you said they were lost. Guess what, the items show up at my house the next day. So now I guess I will be charged for them and that's fine, but they better not charge me the $13.80 I payed in expedited shipping. Bought for Cruzr Hang-on. Makes hanging the stand much easier. I still use the other two straps to secure the stand to the tree but only one is needed.

I bought my hawk hang on stand almost 2 years ago, I have bought several of these brackets and they are game changers, I can get up the tree and set up my stand pretty quick with this bracket. I hunt 2 different properties and I have multiple brackets for different spots . Highly recommend

    • It's ok
It's ok to set in a location to come back to, but for a run and gun type setup it's less than ideal. It's bigger and heavier than it looks. If you have to go up the wrong side of the tree, you're reaching around blind to work the rachet. It can be flipped with a wrench if you disassemble the posts, not a fun task in the field. The rachet itself is low quality. I have ones from harbor freight that work better than this. Theres a wire that attaches the post cap to the rest of the unit to keep it from getting dropped. This can be cumbersome as the wire likes to twist with the cap and requires two hands. Once set, this thing is solid, but it's kind of a pain to get it there. Do I regret buying it? No. Would I do it over again? Also no. All in all it's just ok ... show more
