    • Quick but bulky
Makes hanging a hawk stand much easier but it comes at a price if you're using a lightweight, run-n-gun type setup. It's heavy and bulky. Had to buy a small dump pouch to connect to my harness to hold this bracket and bottom stand cam buckle strap. Very solid once in the tree though.

    • It's ok
It's ok to set in a location to come back to, but for a run and gun type setup it's less than ideal. It's bigger and heavier than it looks. If you have to go up the wrong side of the tree, you're reaching around blind to work the rachet. It can be flipped with a wrench if you disassemble the posts, not a fun task in the field. The rachet itself is low quality. I have ones from harbor freight that work better than this. Theres a wire that attaches the post cap to the rest of the unit to keep it from getting dropped. This can be cumbersome as the wire likes to twist with the cap and requires two hands. Once set, this thing is solid, but it's kind of a pain to get it there. Do I regret buying it? No. Would I do it over again? Also no. All in all it's just ok ... show more

I bought my hawk hang on stand almost 2 years ago, I have bought several of these brackets and they are game changers, I can get up the tree and set up my stand pretty quick with this bracket. I hunt 2 different properties and I have multiple brackets for different spots . Highly recommend
