The media could not be loaded. This sound machine is AMAZING! We love Hatch products and have had a hatch light in our home for 5 years, we have one for almost every room of the house. My family was getting to go on an airplane trip to another state and we decided we didn’t want to risk damaging one of our larger hatch lights and so we found the HATCH rest to go. This little sound machine is very powerful it it’s slightly softer then the traditional hatch light that plugs into the wall but it does the trick. We purchased this in the color ‘putty’ as we like to keep things color neutral and it is true to the color in the photos. The quality is immaculate for such a little speaker as well as the functionality it is very intuitive and easy to use. To turn on once fully charged you just hold the center circle and then from there can turn up the volume with the (+) or tune the volume down with the (-) to cycle through the 10 different sounds you just push the circle button in the middle of the (-) and (+) and choose the noise your little is used to. To turn it off you simply hold the round button until it shuts off. The charge last for 15 hrs and works great while traveling and needing a small device that fits in a carry on without taking up a lot of room. This speaker seems extremely well made and durable, although it is not water proof, it has such a luxury feel to it this will definitely last a long time if taken care of. It does not have a timer feature once it is turned on it goes until it dies or until you turn it off. This doesn’t come with a block charger for the wall only the cord that connects to the sound machine with a usb connection to plug into a block for the outlet. It is about 3 inches in width, and comes with a neat little ring clip that 2 and 3/4 inches wide to attach to a stroller, car seat, purse, diaper bag, belt loop or what have you. I have three hatch rests for all my kids. I have been waiting for them to make a travel version so they can have the same sleep sounds while on the go! Pros: - Decent battery life. - Same sounds from the Hatch rest. (Great for sleep association.) - Toddler proof so far… my three year old has thrown it around and not a single scratch or dent. - Color is fantastic just as described. - The feature I love/hate is that when it is turned back on it doesn’t have the volume at your last setting it slowly gets louder to the lowest volume setting. This is great when out in public so you aren’t blasting sleep sounds. However, this feature has been an adjustment for me. I am always rushing around so it’s a little difficult to know when the sound machine is on I press the power button a million times out of frustration. Cons: - Product slides off the hanging ring easily. I have attached it to my car seat several times and while I am carrying it on my arm it the sound machine has fallen off. Now when I hang it I make sure the sound machine is facing in towards the baby not hanging off the side. - My other issue is with the hanging ring while it is super cute and very modern looking it just doesn’t seem very durable. If you intend to move the sound machine from car seat to stroller often you may need to consider a different way to attach the device. Overall I love this product! We have a hatch at home and loved it so much we wanted the portable version. Great quality product; very much worth the money. We use it in the go or at home from time to time when we’re doing things around the house. It has pre-recorded sounds that will help keep little ones asleep and the volume range isn’t bad either. A fully charged battery has lasted us HOURS (about 4) without needing to be charged again and is conveniently the same charger as our phones so easy to charge as well. Would recommend getting a longer charging cable because the one is comes with us only about 3 inches long. It also does not come with a charging box so it’s either an added cost or just find one that is usb compatible around the house. ... show more

I have used a lot of sound machines and I love this one. I love its neutral chic look and this sturdy clip. You have to keep an eye that it does not slide off the loop hook though. I have had it clipped on the cars seat and when the loop turns the machine came off. Good thing I caught it, but you need to keep an eye out. There are some pros and cons, but overall it's a pretty good little machine! Pros: cute, compact design, minimal buttons, convenient universal charging port, little clip attachment, lots of good sound options, including the shhh baby sound and rain sound Cons: you have to click and hold the middle button for a full 5 seconds before it will turn on/off, volume is inconsistent among different noise options, last used volume is not remembered upon turning it back on ... show more
