My 3 month old absolutely hates tummy time, will only do a minute or so at the most no matter what toy I’m holding infront of her. This has been the only thing to make it less stressful and hold her attention for 10 minutes or so. Glad I invested in it. I like that you can have it on with only the light or with music or a soothing sound. Definitely would recommend for all babies and a great registry add, I wish I had it on mine. ... show more

Not only does my little one love this she giggles at it when playing but it slowly puts her to sleep. And it will automatically turn itself off! Only downside is it used C batteries which I have had a hard time finding at the stores near me but I ordered some on Amazon

My 2 month old doesn’t really love anything yet but she loves this! Be aware that the animals may squeak when they move, we had to unscrew the back and loosen the screws on the animals so they wouldn’t drag and make noise, now it’s perfect!

This product is well described for the most part, but I was looking for something that I could use to soothe the baby during a car ride or during tummy time. The screen never changes, the animals just wiggle around. When the baby reaches for it, she usually manages to hit the star, which then turns the unit off. I see now, that it was really meant for the crib, so it's my fault for not more carefully reading the description, but without a scrolling screen of some type, I don't think it's worth the money. The classical music playing is very pleasant and appropriate for bedtime/soothing, etc. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Okay so I’ve heard this is a life saver, so I decided to try it. I am transitioning my son from bassinet by our bed to his crib in his nursery. I think I’m more sad than my son is over this, lol. In an effort to make the transition easier, I have introduced several soothing/comforting items that are safe. I love this because I can buckle it to his crib. I have a crib with round bars as opposed to flat and it still works perfectly! I like that I can angle the soother down so he can watch it as he sleeps. He loves this thing even when it’s off. In my review video I go over the various combo options for the Sea Dream Soother. You can do a variety of lights both with water effect and not, ocean white noise, and several different melodies. Some melodies sound calmer and some sound energetic! This toy is great for both sleep and daytime entertainment. The remote operates via infrared. So those of you who are old like me, think of tube TVs. If the remote isn’t pointing the right way and you aren’t in the room, it’s useless. I wouldn’t even recommend using it. My kid actually finds it more fun to hold than anything. Perhaps if you have a child old enough to utilize the button then it could be a fun tool! The Soother operate on 4 C batteries which are not included. Amazon will automatically ship this item in manufacturing packaging unless you request otherwise at checkout. Which means a label will be placed directly on the Baby Einstein’s box. So if you’re purchasing this as a a gift, I would recommend asking Amazon to use packaging. Another thing to note is if you return it, they will request you supply a box. So do yourself a favor and just have it shipped in Amazon packaging! ... show more

I had this on my registry for weeks and was hesitant to purchase it but I don’t know how I went so long without it!! It has 4 different modes, 2 of which come with the low stimulating blue light. It does require 4 “C” batteries for the machine and AAA for the remote though. My little one falls asleep with the wave sounds within 5 minutes! Great product please buy :)) ... show more
