Description

Ready, set, shop! The Mall Madness board game is a fun shopping game for kids. Players choose to play as Gwen, Sage, Avery, or Dax, and use their ATM card and cash to buy items on their shopping list. The electronic unit directs players to their next move, where the sales are, last minute markdowns, and more. And kids will love the realistic sound effects when they make a purchase. The 3D gameboard features plenty of cool stores. The first player to purchase 6 items off their shopping list and make it back to their parking lot wins the game. This board game can be a fun birthday or holiday gift for girls and boys, ages 9 and up. Hasbro Gaming and all related trademarks and logos are trademarks of Hasbro,

  • Had this classic growing up
I had this game growing up and it was fun to play so I got it for my daughter so we could play…. I forgot it was so many pieces to set up but once it’s done the first time it so much better to play great design and a good paced game for a family game night and great size and no missing pieces

  • Love this game
I love playing this game with family, I have younger cousins, and we have so much fun playing it! I wish there were more item lists cards that way you could have more of a variety. But overall I loved playing this game!

  • Great game!
My kids love this game. I bought it because it was my favorite game as a kid. Yes things are a bit different but it's mostly the same. Some things you may be interested to know: In order to start the game you need to press the "celebration button" which is NOT the center "enter" button. It's on the side and looks like a 🎉. Some of the store sign cards can fall out when packing up the game so I hot glued all the store pieces into the purple holders. The lid doesn't close completely but good enough to still store away neatly. The walk ways are flimsy and if they are bent at all it can make playing a bit more difficult as the players sometimes fall over. Try to keep them flat when packing up the game. It took us a few minutes to figure out which side was the "ATM" and which side is the "cashier". Not a huge problem though. If you are looking at the "? Button" the ATM is on the right. There are 4 players (2 females, 1 male and 1 non specified). They each have names and come with a bio but they are only referred to by their color during game play. You can play with 2,3 or 4 players. Overall, I recommend. This is the most fun my family has had playing a board game in a long time! ... show more

  • Fun Blast From the Past
I had the original Mall Madness back in the 90s so this was very nostalgic to play with my daughter. The game board itself is a bit of a downgrade from the original - much smaller and just cheaper looking overall. But the idea of the game is the same and so much fun.

I bought this game for my 7 year old, soon to be super shopper, daughter, and this has become a destination game in our household. With a max of 4 players, this game is a joy for the entire family. The rules are simple: Listen to the mall intercom for where the hot deals are, shop til you drop, and make it out of the mall with full bags before anyone else. There is just enough randomness in the automated game running hub to make sure that each game will be different from the last and when it's all said and done, this 25 minute game will leave everyone smiling. The game setup is a little daunting at first, but nothing to the level of Mouse Trap, and after the first time, it's simple enough for the younger ones to do. As a father, I love this game, and even better, my kids love it. ... show more

  • Not better than the 90s version but just as fun
We got an english/french version. You have to hold that celebration button down for about 5 seconds to get english. Took us way too long to figure that out 😩. But we got it to work & had a blast.

  • Such fun! A bit different from original but still great!
Fun game! I do miss the original but this is a close 2nd of my favorite board games ever. The differences from the original are: each player has a name, a bio, and a different shopping list (with diff prices). Because each player has diff prices/items to purchase, you may not all be aiming to go to the same stores (as would happen often with original). The only downside I feel is that you are not aware of the prices other players are expected to pay.. we played by announcing the items and costs each time we were about to purchase. An added bonus this time around is that the computer keeps track of where you are at in your shopping list and tells you when to head to the parking lot! There's also a fun celebratory song when you win. ... show more
