Love the design of this bed and my daughter is obsessed. The instructions could’ve been better with which side the holes for the screws and bolts, but easy to figure out on your own. The slide feels a bit steep but overall very happy with this purchase.

We received the bed in 2 boxes. The quality of materials seems decent, although there were a few dings on the wood. I guess you just have to accept that with this type of furniture. The bed came out nice, and my son absolutely loves climbing up the ladder and sliding down. It seems that the upper level is sturdy. Pay attention to mattress requirements. I believe just a 6” mattress is recommended to keep the railing in a place where it will prevent a child from rolling off the top level. The one disappointment I would say is that the directions are very ambiguous. You are not given steps for putting it together, but rather a picture to basically interpret the steps. Some parts were mislabeled. The hardware is put in plastic bags with tiny squares of paper with the associated part number (a few different parts mixed together in the same bag also). This bed was VERY difficult to put together. You will need to plan for basically a full day with NO distractions. So good luck if you have kids! You have to self drill holes toward the end of the assembly, and this is right when you are starting to feel like you are close to the end lol. The screws do not go in easy! The slats are very difficult to put on. I’m not sure if this was due to the material you are screwing into or what. While I appreciate the quality of the bed and final product, the assembly was highly stressful. The directions could be much clearer. I took away a star due to the unclear instructions and the mislabeling/mixing together of parts. I would say the bed is beautiful and worth the cost, but just know you are doing ALL the labor and it is not easy! Good luck! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. At first when we saw it only came in 1 box we were concerned. After seeing the bed put together we were very please with how beautiful and classy it looked. We paired it with light colored rugs and shelves to give the room a brighter appearance. The slide is steep but my boys enjoy it! My granddaughter loves it! It took 4.5 hours to put together with my husband. Highly recommend having a helper. The directions were easy to follow. The only slight problem was the windows.
