It is distinct enough that I know it is mine and not theirs, but it also makes it easier to tell what is in it. I have replaced the original headband with the comfort one and since it is bulkier I was concerned it might not fit. If I screw it all the way down it fits perfect. I got this case for the meta aspect of storing my Meta Quest 3 in a Meta Quest 3 looking case. This will fit all your accessories and your Quest 3 inside comfortably. It will not accommodate any third-party straps of certain heights. The case is made of a PU material. The rivets on the handle were not very durable. When I first lifted this up, a rivet came off the handle. I had to glue gun that part down and is the reason for the star deduction. Overall, this will definitely hold your original Quest 3 and accessories and nothing else. I enjoy this design but I wish the quality of materials was better. ... show more

I finally ordered a carrying case to replace the cloth bag I've been carrying my quest 3 in! I was immediately impressed by the look of this case and how protective it seems. The molded sections and straps are perfect for keeping the expensive equipment secure. I also really liked the pockets for storing smaller components or manuals. My headset and accessories fir perfectly in this case. I love the molded spaces and velcro straps to really make sure everything is held in place. It also adds an extra layer of protection in the event of a drop since none of the stuff inside will rattle or move around. It has two more pockets built into the lid which make it easy to carry anything else you may need (charger, microfiber towel, etc.) I also noticed two spots that look like they're made for AA batteries for the controllers. The case is molded and so has a specific form. No shoulder strap, just a quaint handle that is comfortable to hold. Also love the way it looks like my headset. Kind of a cool design touch IMO. It did kind of smell upon unpacking like plastic but that went away after a day. Overall, it is a stellar product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a less expensive alternative to other cases on the market. 5/5 ... show more

    • Good option for a stock Quest 3

This case fits a stock Quest 3 amazingly well. The headset and controllers rest perfectly inside molded pockets. There are also places for two extra AA batteries and the Quest's charging brick (cylinder?). A zippered pocket and pouch on the inside top of the case provide additional unstructured storage. If you have a stock Quest and plan to keep it that way, this is a great option. I knew my halo strap wouldn't fit (not even close!) but I was hoping that my elite-style strap would work. Nope; it has to be disassembled because of how tight the fit is (top to bottom). I also prefer knuckle-style grips on my controllers, which means they no longer fit snugly into those tightly molded places. The case's design is obviously made to look like the front of the Quest headset. It's worth noting that the three black ovals are stickers with PU material. I pulled gently on one in a 68 degree house (colder outside) and it immediately separated. I imagine these will probably fall off once it warms up. Ultimately, since I've already modified my Quest some and will likely keep going, I'll probably give this case to a friend with a stock Quest. The expectation to keep the stock strap was communicated in the listing so it's not impacting my rating. I'll update this review if I run into durability issues. ... show more
