The brightness of the mirror is just right, not too harsh on the eyes, but enough to allow you to see yourself clearly in the bathroom. The media could not be loaded. I never write reviews but I've purchased two of these mirrors and ended up sending back the second one because after a month or so a red light pops up on the edge of the mirrors and doesn't go off. I love the lights around it when I touch the mirror but when I turn the light off this red light stays on and does not go off. This is very disappointing knowing that I paid $400 for this and it's already defective and of course the first one I purchased has passed the time where I can return it. 😕 ... show more

I paid $100 more for this mirror because the description made a point to say it could be controlled by a switch on the wall. I was excited and rewired the bathroom before the mirror arrived. When I got it, a power reset with my switch would always turn the mirror heater on. I only need the heater on if someone is using the shower. I feel it was false advertising. If the heater or backlight is off, a power reset should leave them off. Other than that, the mirror would have been 5 stars. ... show more
