You get a powerful electric outboard for the money. The 8 horsepower is the best because you have the most battery options. A 48v bluetooth enabled Lithium battery is best. The throttle on these motors is very, very sensitive and the cruise control button while nice jerks the motor when you disengage it. Adding a bolt-on rudder helps.
