  • 80 lb thrust trolling motor
Color: Black 60inch & Quick Release Bracket Item Display Length: 60 Inches
Installed on my pontoon 20 ft. Wanted a trolling motor that could pull my pontoon around on lake with remote. This trolling motor does just that. Powerful and good looking unit. Priced affordable.

  • Good for the price point but needs a few things included to make it 5 stars
Color: Black 54" & Foot & Quick Release Item Display Length: 54.0 Inches
Item seemed like it was made of quality materials. It was packaged well. Install was fairly easy with materials supplied. It is nice that I can lock it to my boat with the supplied mount and remove it easily from my boat when not in use; the mount was included in the package. It did not come with a fuse or circuit breaker. I ended up purchasing a power disconnect so that I can remove the motor from the boat when not in use without having to pull the cables from the batteries and remove all the tie straps that I used to fasten the cables to the boat. I also bought a circuit breaker for over current protection; would have been nice if they had indicate the rated amperage and supplied a breaker of fuse for circuit protection. The supplied power cables were not long enough to reach the batteries where I have them in the boat versus the bow mount. Also, the only instructions included in the package were the ones that told me how to install the mount; its a good thing I am a mechanic who knows and understands principles of electricity and mechanics/physics. The foot control works well and is very large - no problems with being able to hold your foot in place at the heel and make the buttons work - will need plenty of deck space to place the foot control. I had a little trouble with it not doing what I wanted it to on an occasion or two but it eventually reacted and made the change that I wanted after 3 or 4 seconds. I have not tried the blue tooth remote yet. 80 pounds of thrust might be a little small for my 27 foot boat but it does move it; should be plenty for a smaller boat. If they would have made a larger motor, I would have bought one. For the price of it, an equivalent that I was considering was more than double the price and one with spot lock GPS would have been even more. I hope the durability holds up well and the motor goes for several years. If it does, then it is well worth considering to buy another one just like it rather than going for one of the other brands I was considering. ... show more

  • They stand behind their product 100%. Works well. Solid built!
Lot's of power...works as advertised. I don't suggest buying one with only the hand held wireless remote. The foot control gives you a solid hard wire connection to the motor. The hand remote depends on wireless connection. If it stops working, battery goes dead, whatever...you ain't going anywhere! Also of note...they stand behind their product 100%. The guarantee is solid. I had to use it and their response was quick and satisfactory. The unit is built very solid and works as advertised. I don't recommend running this, or any trolling motor, on highest power for prolonged periods, this isn't a substitute for an outboard. Otherwise, it will run for hours when used with some common sense. ... show more

  • Ease of installation and quite satisfied.
Color: Black 54" & Foot & Quick Release Item Display Length: 54.0 Inches
The install was very easy and the product has been so far just as expected. The quick release plate that can be added to the unit does need to be thicker when used on a pontoon boat with carpeting. The power cord is very long which was great for my application as it was able to reach the area where the batteries are. The wireless remote is great so far.. ... show more

  • Junk, 1 year and the turn motor is rusted and stuck
Update 7-30-2022 steering motor failed. It's full of rust. Amazon and aquos world customer service told me to late, it's my problem. Many conversations online about this common problem. By a Minn kota or motor guide. These aquos haswing motors are junk. Original review below I mounted this on the front deck of our 21 ft pontoon hoping to get 5mph. I realize that was probably to much to ask. We are getting 4mph which is very acceptable and it works very well for trolling along weed edges for bass fishing. If you are hoping for Minnkota quality and Precision keep looking. The remote works well but it has some lag. My minnkota is immediate and much more precise. I'm hoping for good longevity and durability but that's for a future review. Update after installing 2 brand new series 27 deep cycle batteries the motor would not run at full power. It would immediately shut off. After going back and forth with aqua less than steller customer service I had my son who is a master auto tech look at it. Right away he said that the battery jumper needed to be larger guage wire. I made up a 8 guage jumper and it now works like it should Update 7/4/2022 Steering stopped working. Customer service lol is worthless. Did some research and a VERY common problem is rusting turn motor. I opened up the housing and found a rusted up, froze up turn motor. A managed to get it working but 1 year and this. Buy a good motor. This thing is junk. ... show more

  • Strong motor
Color: Black 54" & Foot & Quick Release Item Display Length: 54.0 Inches
We have this motor on a 20 foot pontoon in a 37 acre lake. It does an amazing job. We have had 12 adults with coolers and it did perfect. We have hit a stump and slightly bend the shaft. We used a tractor and the hitch of a f150 to straighten it back out. We nearly lifted the truck off the ground. It works great again. It took the weight of the boat and 10 people at full speed to slightly bend the shaft, with a direct hit of a stump. Other motors would have shattered! ... show more

  • Has its problems.
Color: Black 54" & Foot & Quick Release Item Display Length: 54.0 Inches
First off I really like this trolling motor for cost, thrust and many good features but the bad stuff makes me want to jerk off my boat. First: the release handles are not in sync, supposedly you should be able to step or push either side and it supposed to release well it doesn’t only the left handle fully releases the motor so it will be lowered in the water. Secondly: and this is the most aggravating part; while lifting it out of the water it will freeze up. You can’t go up or down or even twist it to so it will be suspended halfway and I have to tie it off for I don’t want it to fall back down while driving home. In order for me to get it back into the holding cradle I have to tug, twist repeatedly in order to work it loose and still don’t know what I did to get it loose. I have sprayed lubricant (Houdini) (not w-d 40). It helps some. But still freezes up! And if anyone has got suggestions on how to remedy the bad and make me love this trolling motor again please respond. ... show more
