The media could not be loaded. The best trolling motor have ever owned. Spot lock is rock solid. The trim feature was another selling point. If you’re going to put Garmin live scope on it you will have to buy a special mount from Cornfield Crappie. It cost $363.25. It looks more professional than the bike cable method. Installed on my boat. Used it for one day on a out of town trip worked great. Day two it got stuck part way on the stow. Minnkota tech was helpful but in the middle of a lake with limited tools for a hour and half. Now it’s going in to the repair shop. Don’t waste your money on this

Great product. The spot lock will keep your boat in the same spot even on windy days. The 24 volt 80 lb thrust motor will pull the boat around with no problem. Fishing in and around reeds is no problem. Lily pads can get stuck in the prop. The power and spot lock was the selling point for me. The remote is easy to use. I often launch my boat by myself, and the auto-deploy feature helps a lot. (It's a 17' fiberglass bass boat.) For a boat this size, it does well on flat water, but if you plan on being in water with a current, I would recommend the 36v. It pulls my boat on 10 at about 2.8 mph on calm lakes. With fully charged batteries, it is difficult to load due to the auto-stow. ... show more

I bought the Minn Kota Ultera to replace an old Minn Kota Terrova. The good news is the mounting holes for the old Terrova matched perfectly which made the installation easy. This is the most amazing piece of fishing technology I have ever seen and or fished with. A little expensive but worth every penny. The anchor mode is the bomb, you find a good spot, hit the anchor button and it holds you in a 5 ft area ... even in the wind.
