    • Great for Older Vehicles
I have used this on a couple of trips now, and it has worked well. However, if you live in a region that has many FM radio stations you may have issues finding an empty radio frequency to set it to. Once you have set it to a clear FM radio frequency, you then tune the car radio to the same frequency. I suggest that you set one of the presets to the frequency that the adapter is set for. Then you pair your phone to the adapter, which is fairly straight forward. Once set and plugged into the vehicle's 12 volt accessory port, it will automatically connect and will play anything your phone sends through the radio. The USB charger works well and is enough to keep a modern phone charged, even when using Waze. I find the audio quality to be quite good, good enough for on the road use. I recommend this type over the ones that play through your car's cassette player. Another nicety is when it is first turned on it will display the vehicle battery voltage. This can alert you to issues with your vehicle battery or electrical system. After a few seconds the display shows the frequency it is transmitting on. ... show more

Connected quickly to a stable, unused radio station. I haven't tried to dial in another station, but the sound quality is pretty decent for the price point. I was planning to use the hands free phone function, but I have already and it works very well. Great upgrade for an older vehicle!

This little FM transmitter was a perfect fit for my Infiniti! The cigarette lighter adapter is built it to the ashtray, so it is difficult to find one of these that will work for that tight space. Works really well and the sound is clear. Pairs up quickly with my phone and is so convenient!

    • Works well for streaming music from phone
This little gadget is pretty awesome I will say as it instantly connect to Bluetooth with your phone once you start the car. Only frustrating thing I have found with it is for some strange reason every time I turn the car off and get out I noticed that the volume on my phone has gone down to zero for some weird reason when it was at full volume when I entered the car. This happens every single time this gadget is left in the cigarette lighter outlet. I tested it and unplugged the gadget so then it obviously did not connect with my phone and phone volume stayed at the normal volume. Maybe I just don’t know how to change a setting to prevent this from happening but just be aware that this might happen to your phone as well. Call Quality using this is not good on the other end of the call. People have asked why can’t I hear you very well? Call quality is worse than just putting your phone on speakerphone and driving in the car. I don’t use it for calls I use it strictly for streaming music to play through the car stereo from Spotify because the car has a great stereo but my car is slightly older and doesn’t have the aux cable outlet so this works great for streaming music from my phone through the car. ... show more

    • Clear sound, great connection vs. other Bluetooth.
I liked the connection, it was quick. I like the dual / double charge USB to charge or connect. Clear sound when traveling/ driving. Only thing I noticed is that it gets “staticky” when another car comes close to my car. Still better than others I have purchased for my car.
