I forsure liked the rod and this is the second one that snapped on me. It’s light and sensitive for the price. Caught a good amount of fish on these. Have not found a way to contact the company for the warranty, but will update if I do. But until then I can’t say I could buy again seeing for $100 I could get a decent rod that would last more then a month. Could be a defect. Just what I'm looking for in a spinning rod, low priced and durable. I tend to really abuse spinning rods due to the fact that I fish the nastiest and brushiest shorelines. I put this rod to the test and it held up great. Ripped out some snags and hoisted some heavy fish and it stayed intact. Tough to find 7 ft two-piece medium heavy spinning rods these days. I bought the 5’6” UL and absolutely loved it at first. Great sensitivity, fast action and super light. On the very first fish the rod snapped when I set the hook, it wasn’t any crazy hook set either being I’m using 2lb mono and the trout was pretty small. I’m not sure if there was a prior issue with the blank or what the issue was but I really would have loved this if it didn’t break. Amazing value for the money with the build components EDIT: handling reached out to me and sent me a new rod to make things right. Great customer service on their end. I casted once and the end piece snapped off the second I hooked a fish. Not a good rod. Very fragile. Do not buy. It snapped on a 2 pound at mast bass on the fist cast. If you are the company that made this and you are reading this you need to do something about it.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased 6 of these rods when they were $28.99 now they’re $42.99 and not worth that. Two of the rods broke on the first trip with them, just broke upon casting. Customer service (Rita) was good to work with that. They replaced my rods once I sent a photo of the broken ones. If they were still $28.99 I’d recommend them, being they’re almost $50 there are many better options. ... show more
