Features

  • Works flawlessly with spinning, casting, larger conventional reels (even fly rods of all sizes)
  • Allows spinning reels to be stowed in the natural downward position, not hung off the side
  • A 360-degree rotating collar offers the ability to quickly secure the rod by capturing the reel
  • Multiple modes allow anglers to easily stage rods for quick access or lock them in for maximum security

Description

The Omega Pro adds an extension arm to help get reel higher off the water or helps accommodate longer rod butts. The Omega Pro attaches to kayak, boat, or other watercraft with LockNLoad mounting system. Offering unrivaled track mount security and adjustability, the patent pending LockNLoad track base is the most advanced track mount ever created. You want no slip? No problem. The LockNLoad track base attaches quickly and easily with a single MightyBolt but will not accidentally rotate or loosen from the track, even when your trolling rod takes a big hit. There are 3 modes: locked, adjustment, removal. The patent pending design is easy to use: - From locked mode, simply squeeze a lever to go into adjustment mode. - In adjustment mode, the mount can be rotated in any direction, but cannot be removed, ensuring the rod holder is completely secure while making adjustments, even if a fish hits. Let go of the lever and you are back in locked mode. - To go to removal mode, flip the lever out, and the system easily slides off of the track mount.

  • Solid and versatile
A solid and versatile design from Yak Attack. Lock ‘n Load mount is quick and easy, articulation of holder arm sections is excellent, retention of any rod configuration is robust.

  • Best pole holders for kayak .
These pole holders fit in the track perfectly. One of the best features is how easily it is to remove leaving only the mount base in the track . Would recommend this product and I will get another one .

  • Excellent for kayaks!
Okie dokie, this is an excellent rod holder- hands down the best attachment to the kayak track rails of any rod holder I've found. First, the way this secures to the kayak track rails is amazing and makes it super easy to install. You depress a clip and the top portion slips off of the base. The base slips onto the track and you tighten it down. Then slip the top portion back onto the base and it clips into place- super easy and super secure. It won't come off unless you press the clips and pull it off. To adjust the direction, you depress the clip and turn the top to position it. The top portion never comes off the base. When you let go of the clip it remains in place. It has two adjustable knobs on the riser that allow you to adjust the height and position of the rod holder. Just loosen the knobs and adjust, then tighten to secure- easy. It has a mounting point to add a rod leash to teather the rod and reel so you wont lose it if you tip over. I always try to make all of my adjustments before I launch the kayak, but I found this holder very easy to make adjustments while on the water. Overall it is an excellent rod holder. ... show more

  • Strength
Used for stripper trolling and fishing . Easy to adjust , worked good. First time i used, hooked a sixteen pound stripper. The rod holder held strong , the track it was in would brake long before the rod holder ever wood . Getting another one for the other side. 👍

  • Heavy duty construction
I purchase a couple to place in the tracks behind my seat. Very solid construction. I use them in a straight up position when I stand and fish so I can quickly and quietly change to different rods. They are also great for trolling to the side at an angle position away from the kayak. The rods lock in so they aren't going anywhere. I thought they were a bit pricey when I ordered them but when I got them I can see that they are quality and heavy duty construction. It's nice that I can remove the holder and the base that connects to the track stays in place. I also like that you can reposition on the base with out taking them completely off. They go on the base fast and easy. These rod holders are perfect for my needs. ... show more

  • Best rod holder I've used for canoe/, kayak.
I love my Yak Attack rod holder. Nearly infinite adjustability, installs easy, removes easy. You've gotta have track mounted to use this, but there are many options as far as track goes. Check descriptions.

  • Exactly What I Needed for Trolling With Different Types of Rods/Reels
After using a cheaper brand of rod holders, I upgraded to the YakAttack Omega Pro rod holders and haven't looked back. They are very sturdy, despite having a single track mounting point. I can attest to their strength after trolling and landing multiple 20+ lb freshwater drum. The Omega locks into the rail and will not spin or bend. I also really appreciate the design of the holder that facilitates multiple types of rod/reel combos. I, personally, have never needed to lock a rod into place due to the snug fit. And while the fit is secure in the Omega Pro, they are surprisingly easy to remove when a fish is on. The Omega Pro rod holder is the perfect compliment to your fishing kayak. ... show more
