On off switch only. No pulse switch. When using a coffee cup it will overflow instantly. It might be okay if it had a pulse switch. Only using a tall container or you will regret it. EDIT: If you stir the beverage counterclockwise rapidly in a tall container while using this, you get a decent result. I changed my review to four stars. Good luck ... show more

I use this frother every morning to mix my coffee. I occasionaly use it to froth milk and when I do, it froths nicely. It creates this little vortex in your cup and will spill out if you froth too long or if your cup is too shallow.
