The media could not be loaded. USER EXPERIENCE System boot time is basically 1 second, load times for pretty much every game I tried was very fast as well, and with a single button press at any point you can be back at the main system menu. For the onboard controls; the AB/XY buttons are responsive and easy to roll over, the lower half of D-pad is soft. For the external controller; its very lightweight, has a hollow feel, the AB/XY buttons are concaved with great response, the D-pad is a bit soft but better feel than the onboard's, and while the cabling comes out the upper right side (as opposed to center top) I didn't find it to be obstructing my grip. GAMES LIBRARY Some games are duplicates and the product listing is upfront about this. There is no search function and there doesn't appear to be a uniform organization of titles but some popular ones are listed in the first pages. Scrolling through the titles is fast, took just over a minute to go from 1 to 400 (see attached video for full game list at max scroll speed). And, as indicated in the product listing, there is no saving of any game progress. SCREEN & SOUND The screen's quality is pretty much on par with what the original GameBoy Color's offered, with one noticeable difference. It almost seems like the screen's polarizer wasn't placed correctly because there is, at times, heavy greywashing when viewed straight on but at an angle the coloring is clear. Its not a deal breaker but is noticeable on certain titles with contrasting color schemes. The sound is classic 8bit, the speaker can actually get quite loud. 2P CONTROLLER The included controller is seemingly only for player 2. Unless I've missed something, it does not function for player 1 meaning you'll be using the onboard buttons for everything including TV out play. PLAYING ON TV Used an old monitor to test the RCA out feature. It does not have onboard speakers so I cant comment on the audio save to say that while RCA is connected the onboard speaker is inactive. There was some minor flickering, occasional banding, once I had to unplug/replug to correct a signal error, all within reason for the tech IMO. My only complaint is the short length of the cable, which wouldn't be an issue at all if there was an option to use the controller as player 1. But seeing as this is marketed as a handheld device I decided its not worth taking a star off for. VALUE There are no shortage of retro emulator handhelds on the market, even several mini-units like this one, although most are priced $50+. The cost trade off here is the lack of progress saving, no customization options, and limited library (yes 400 is limited compared to systems offering thousands). But $16 is a very reasonable price for an entry level emulator and worth the money if you're just looking for some nostalgic amusement. ... show more

Has a lot of nintendo games, quite a few I remember playing when I was younger, I've added a few pictures of games it includes but it has WAY more included, it's rechargeable and feels lightweight
