The keyboard is quite slim so it doesn't add much weight to the ipad. It closes nicely with the ipad and since its magnetic, it doesn't slip out. The color of the cover and the keyboard is so cute! This is excellent. Excellent protection. Holder for Apple Pencil. The stand is great. The magnetic cover holds the keyboard in place. The keyboard has been excellent. I use it daily. Battery lasts longer than expected. The lighting options on the keyboard are excellent with enough choice of color to work well in almost any lighting conditions. The small fold protects the camera and also acts as a fourth position for standing the iPad by folding it over while the iPad is standing. There are three indentations in the magnetic cover to hold the iPad at different angles. The case is thick and padded enough to provide some protection. I’d give it as a gift. This case & keyboard are good. The keyboard has a nice feel and can be lit or not (easy to change the lighting). When it's set up, it's perfect. When it's closed up, it's also perfect. Just know that when it's set up and you want to move it, you need to make sure to pick up the case & the keyboard, which is not attached. Exactly how it is pictured, you can take the keyboard on and off and it's battery life lasts forever. I have only charged it twice in a month and has held up so nice. I’m so happy it works because I really didn’t want to have to return the case because I really do love everything about it.*** I wanted to love everything about this case and originally, I did. That immediately changed when I went to fix a paper on my ipad and I quickly found out that none of the special characters on the keyboard were correct...literally NONE of them. My old iPad was 12 years old. It was time. There are so many it was hard to decide. Eventually I just bit the bullet and bought one I could afford - pretty decent price. I got this nice case (extra) to go with it and a matching keyboard. I was really hoping it would solve my vision problems - but it doesn't. People who see well design the magnifier options and they are nearly impossible to move around the screen and are very disorienting. Increasing the size of text through accessibility demands all kinds of contortions, too. But the iPad is fast, pretty, beautiful resolution. One problem, The battery doesn't last near as long as my old one. I literally have to plug it in at least every night and any time I am using it for any kind of demanding work.
