It’s vital after c section with how the sides push down. It’s great when they’re very little. As soon as they start moving more and you have to lock the sides for safety, it’s not as convenient. Also at that stage they can reach over the net in the middle and wake the other up. It also seems like when one moves it rocks the entire bassinet so that’s not great for sleeping together, but one of my twins is EXTREMELY active. The singleton halo bassinet did not slowly lower but this one does. I reset the height weekly. I absolutely love this bassinet! The swivel function allows me to hover my baby in my bed so that he is right next to me while I sleep, only separated by a soft mesh layer. It is like we are co-sleeping but without any safety concerns of me rolling on baby, or baby falling out of bed. The swivel is also awesome when you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night- I can swivel baby to the side to easily get out of bed without waking him up. The bassinet was incredibly easy to assemble and the stand seems super sturdy. The wall of the bassinet bends down so it is super easy to roll over and lift baby out at night when its time to feed. This is my third baby and fourth bassinet and it is the best Ive tried by far! ... show more

We used this bassinet for about 5 months with our baby boy. He was the kind of scooting over and rolling towards the wall of the bassinet. He ALWAYS had his face smooshed into the wall of the bassinet. If it weren’t for the netting of the halo, he would have suffocated. This was a nightly thing for our baby and I’m so grateful for the Halo. It saved our baby’s life more times than I can count. If you’re on the verge because of the price, just get it. Your baby’s life is priceless. On another note, I loved the pull down wall. This made it much easier to grab my baby or access him or just view him better at night. Forget about the negative reviews. This is only used for a couple of months. No need to spend so much money to get the greatest. This one does the job and is beautiful. I got the simple one, not the one that has music or vibrates and it’s perfect.
