Pros: We upgraded to this newer, modern, minimalist bed from an older bulky Victorian style bed we got from Ashley Furniture that was cheap as all get out! Our old bed took up tons of real estate in our small master bedroom but this bed is so much better for our room. It's the perfect fit. Makes us feel like we have so much more room in there. I love the LED's it comes with. It's a nice deco/mood touch to be able to turn on lights. The bed is sturdy, but creaked some at the begining but has ceased since. We are really pleased with this bed and the price. So worth it! Cons: There's only one draw back to this bed and it's the assembly. It took some time...2/hours by myself and it was pretty tedious. As a middle class husband and father of three I've done my share of assembly furniture and toys and I've gotta say this was probably the most laborious. (Having two people would be a plus!) THAT SAID, the labor was worth the sacrifice!!! Especially considering the fact that we may have this bed for another 10 to 20 years! Should you get this bed? Yes, definitely, pull the trigger!     • Very Sturdy, Looks Expensive, Low Cost! | LOOK A FEW STEPS AHEAD WHEN BUILDING!

***VERY IMPORTANT: For anyone who has purchased this frame, some of the steps don't show important things to indicate which way pieces should be facing, forcing you to start over on said part. Make sure you keep your bolts just tight enough to keep everything together until you finish the piece you're working on in case you have to readjust something or start over!!*** We absolutely love this bedframe, I was worried when buying when some of the reviews said their frames came with damage but ours came in perfect condition. Build time was ~2 hours with one person building and a set of helping hands (which you will need lol). It was relatively easy to build, but this is also why I had to stick with 4 stars instead of 5. The instructions come with only pictures, and they can be confusing at times. In some cases, like building the footboard, they don't show you which way the legs of the footboard are supposed to be facing, which is forwards (if I'm remembering correctly). But if you go by the picture you'd assume backwards, and you'd have to disassemble the entire footboard like I did and start over because of that. It definitely got frustrating but I would say it was worth it. Just make sure you're reading a few steps ahead before starting on your current step and you should be fine. One of the biggest upsides to this frame is that it CAN be pushed back against a wall. And back of the header is empty, to leave room for cords to be plugged in which is amazing. There's a good amount of space under the frame for storage too which is very nice and not something I noticed before setting it up. Even though it is a very cheap frame, it looks very nice. It matches all the other things we have with the same gray wood as this so it fits in perfectly. Honestly it looks like it should cost much more than it did. This bed took a while to put together but I did it alone and at my own pace. Very sturdy frame compared to a different one I bought a year ago. Looks nice for a wood laminate contact paper kind of deal. Lights are awesome and it sound/music interacting, can put an app on your phone which I didn't know and has every color to choose from. Upgraded my teen son from a twin to a full size bed, this bed had the look he was wanting. There's definitely a need to pay attention when assembling, the directions are a tad confusing, but it took me n my hubby about an hour and a half to put together. My fiancé had the same bed frame for 8+ years. It was a composite board frame. Super tall, box spring and a mattress plus a foam topper. It snapped in half finally so I purchased this bed. Was worried because we both have messed up backs and he’s on a 5lb weight restriction from shoulder surgery. So everyone saying assembly was awful worried me a lot but I needed a frame asap. Came in 5 days early. Fed ex left the (giant and very very heavy) box at the end, in the middle of our driveway, in the snow. Box was ripped. Wouldn’t fit in the car to bring it up. But anywho, instructions were actually pretty clear. Everything is labeled very very nicely. Especially the screws and they tell you there’s extra so no anxiety of missing any. They give you front and side view illustrations of the bars so you know they’re facing the correct way. Only pain was the final bars and putting in the spacers for them. Need tiny fingers and they will hurt after. Only took us 2 hours from opening the box to putting on the mattress. No squeaking so far. Our box spring doesn’t fit on it because the Headboard is 1/4 the height of our old one. So it’s much shorter than we’re use to. With the pillows on you can’t see it at all. That’s okay though. The led lights have an app you can get too, pretty cool. Our backs are killing us but you for sure need 2 people to put it together. We could’ve gotten it done faster if it weren’t for the restrictions and a tiny room. Plus it’s super cute, perfect for a small room or a dorm! ... show more
