Pros: We upgraded to this newer, modern, minimalist bed from an older bulky Victorian style bed we got from Ashley Furniture that was cheap as all get out! Our old bed took up tons of real estate in our small master bedroom but this bed is so much better for our room. It's the perfect fit. Makes us feel like we have so much more room in there. I love the LED's it comes with. It's a nice deco/mood touch to be able to turn on lights. The bed is sturdy, but creaked some at the begining but has ceased since. We are really pleased with this bed and the price. So worth it! Cons: There's only one draw back to this bed and it's the assembly. It took some time...2/hours by myself and it was pretty tedious. As a middle class husband and father of three I've done my share of assembly furniture and toys and I've gotta say this was probably the most laborious. (Having two people would be a plus!) Easy to build with 2 people, took us 4 hours with a few breaks. All the pieces were accounted for. Everything fit in place perfectly. We have an 8 inch queen memory foam mattress on it and there was maybe an inch gap but I have a body pillow in back of my pillows so it works just fine. Seems sturdy we’ll be sleeping on it tonight as 2 plus sized adults. Price was good too! ... show more

This was relatively inexpensive, as far as bed frames go. My old box spring broke and I needed a new bed and didn't want to break the bank. I liked the simple look of this frame. Assembly was easy... but it took me about 3+ hours to put together. The hardest part was the headboard because you have to pay attention to the direction of the bars in the diagram. My girlfriend helped me assemble the headboard. I did the rest myself and the rest of the frame was very easy to build and the directions were easier to follow. It was easy, but tedious, and the final bars you put in require a bit of strength to fit into the slots. The only other cons I can think of are: the LED light strip came with a pretty low-quality adhesive, and not enough tacks to hold the strip to the top of the headboard (so there is a part that sags); and the metal legs are positioned in real toe-stubby places (consider buying some sort of pipe insulation foam, pool noodle, or something to put on the metal legs to save your toes). ... show more

I put this bed together by myself and it did take several hours but I like the finished product. I did not put the clamps on at the very end because I couldn't figure out how to get them to stay in place. That may come back to bite me later but it seems fine and study for now and I haven't heard any squeaking as mentioned in some other comments. I wish that there was a quick assembly video in the pictures for that part but the rest was pretty simple to understand, just time consuming. The LED strip is awesome but it smells soooooo bad. Overall I do recommend purchasing. I think this is a great bedframe for the price. ... show more

This bed frame was easy and simple to put together, it honestly took 18 minutes from the time I opened the box and turned on the lights in the headboard. The lights aren’t super bright and annoying, they’re very soothing/calming and help you fall asleep quickly!

The first thing to say is... I thought this bed would make a lot of noise. It does not!!!. it was tedious to put it together but that is because you also have to put all those individual bars that hold the mattress up. This bed does not need a box spring. I got rid of the box spring so I was able to see the pretty wood design. The color on the shelf can be switched to any color you want. The bed comes with a remote for changing the colors. If you loose the remove there is a push button that will allow you to rotate trough the different modes and colors. You can set it to Auto and have the colors switch through all the colors and you can even determine how fast you want the colors to switch. There is a USB and power plugs at the bed. This bed is very nice and you will love it. ... show more

Overall, I love the frame. Looks great in my room and is super sturdy. I did find assembling the headboard to be very difficult. The pictures in the assembly directions are very vague and a little confusing. It is super important to line the direction of the frames and boards when assembling as it will have downstream effects...I had to undo it several times to keep realigning the frame and boards...kind of frustrating. Again, the instructions are not super helpful in showing this and are at best...misleading. when putting the strip on for the headboard lights start the sticky application of the lights at the very edge of the board. The picture shows it a couple inches in but it takes the full length so start at the edge or you will have some of the light strip hanging down with the cord. I will say it gets easier to assemble as you go. The base of the bed goes together fairly easily (the two larger pieces at the head below the baseboard are a little challenging. Make sure the wood grain goes the same as the baskets, this isn't shown in the instructions) and the baskets are easy once you figure out how the side rubber things work and get the wheels attached (the wheels can take some muscle to snap in not as easy as you think). The only other thing I would caution about is the plastic snap things that go in the holes with each of the slats. They are very difficult to snap in. After struggling with about 3 of them I made the calculation I didn't think I would need them. Well...learned that when adults do what adults do...without the plastic snap inserts the bed is quite noisy because the metal slats don't have the plastic dampening the sound. So don't skip this step, especially if you have kids, neighbors, or live in an apartment setting. Took me about 5 hours to put the whole bed together. Looks great. The power socket in the board is brilliant. The changing color light strip is a bit much for an adult. I just keep it on the soft yellow but could be fun for younger people. Those baskets underneath are actually a lot of storage space which is nice. ... show more
