Not a barber yet, but planning of going to school, after the pandemic. This shears are beautiful! It looks well made. Just fyi, make sure to adjust the tension on both shears, before using for the first time. Lots of video about tension adjusting, in YouTube. Stay safe, and God bless everyone.

Love the handwritten note from the seller. Another note explained that he cleaned the kit and sanitized it as well with everything going on. Thank you for taking that extra step! The scissors work great and it gets the job done!

The tension screw in the scissor does not stay. You have to tighten it constantly. It gets loose after every cut. The thinning shears are not sharp and pull the hair.

I am a professional barber, I bought these shears to hold me over until I get nice expensive professional level of shears that I will spend 300-600 dollars on. For at home use you probably need look no further than these. If you are cutting hair professionally use these until you can get a better pair, they are perfectly fine for what they are. The thinning shears seem of slightly higher quality than the cutting shears. Just my two cents, definitely worth the money but as shears I give them 3 stars, as at home shears of temporary shears I give them 4 stars. You probably can’t find better for the money though. ... show more
