I ordered these to place outdoors on our deck. I was very surprised when a small box came that there could be two palms in it. I was not expecting that I would have to assemble them. NO problem though. It was easy to do! They each came with two different size leaves (7-large, 5-small) that you need to attach onto the stems. I did not follow the directions as I wanted to make them different from each other. I think it even made them look fuller doing it my way. I should also mention that there was a plastic odor to them when I took them out of the box and plastic wrapping. It quickly went away after about 30 minutes. After assembling and fluffing, I was very pleased with them. The weighted pot is no match for any kind of breeze. I was picking them up 10+ times a day. I will get another heavier pot to put them in for next year. In the meantime, for the winter, they are proudly displayed around the house. A perfect accent to dark corners! I really like that the don't need any care, except maybe a quick hosing off a couple times a year. I'm definitely going to buy more! ... show more

Well made, they are nice and sturdy. I have them in my patio and they look really nice. I would have real plants but I can't keep them alive so this was a perfect alternative for me. They are cheapy looking and to me are a great size.

So every year, I end up buying 2 Majesty palms for my outdoor area at $30-40 per... I have to lug them home from the big box store in a sedan, getting dirt all over my car floor, have to repot them, and carry them up to my balcony, only to have nowhere to put them over the winter and watch them die slowly in the corner. Also, my cat tries to eat them then vomits everywhere. Good times. I decided to try these instead to see if I could be happy with fake palms that require no dirt, very little lugging, and no maintenance and that I can bring in for the winter and put back outside for the summer. These work great for just that. I was surprised that two four and a half foot palms fit inside of the box they arrived in, but they do. You have to attach some of the palm fronds yourself, but it only takes a few minutes. They were packaged well. From a distance, they look realistic enough. Sitting on my balcony, no one will know they're not real. They even have the dried look stems at the bottom. I do worry about them sitting outside for an extended period of time and being exposed to the rain, but we'll see how they hold up. They will look nice in the my living room corners for the winter. Unfortunately, my cat is still trying to eat the fake leaves... These are a decent substitute of you want a somewhat realistic look (although not up close), without the hassle. ... show more

This Artificial Palm Plant is a nice addition to a bare corner outside our downstairs guest bedroom. What makes this a good product is that it comes in a pack of two, so you can use them in opposite corners if you're looking for symmetry or in separate locations to dress up the area. The possibilities are endless. What I like about these plants is that despite them being fake, you need to look up closely to figure it out. The stalks give it away but the leaves look real! The plants are easy to assemble, with a few stalks that need to be installed and then you can bend them as needed to give the plant a more realistic look. It's hard finding nice looking artificial plants at a reasonable price for around the house, but these fit the bill! The basket in the photo is not included, in fact, the plant is set in a small plastic pot so once we figured out how high we wanted the plant to be, we just filled the inside of the basket with foam and bubble wrap. The plants are 4.5 feet tall and are perfect for a pop of color in our house. Highly recommended! ... show more

This looks really nice from afar! If you get up close, you can easily tell it's a fake plant though. Assembly was easy but not very informative via the included instructions. You're going to assemble the tallest branches first on top, then cascade the smaller branches below it on each individual peg. Once it's put together, this is VERY TOP HEAVY! The little fabric pot it comes in is just not enough to keep it upright. Right now, it's leaning against the wall in the corner of my living room until I get a planter for this one. It takes some fluffing, but this is a nice plant when put together! Even better, no watering needed! ... show more

I ordered this 2 pack of 4.5' Artificial Palm Trees to place in my entrance hallway. The plants arrived in a weighted black plastic pot which was heavy and stable, but not very attractive. To enhance the look, I placed the plastic pot into a larger ceramic plant pot and also covered the faux green grass at the base of the plant with some white river rock. As for the plant itself, it has an adequate height and # of branches/leaves - but the overall look of the plant isn't as realistic as some others I've seen. Installing the leaves and then adjusting the branches was a bit of a struggle - as the branches don't have a lot of flexibility. But after playing around with various bends and angles, the look of the plant isn't bad. But up close, it's not great - it's obviously a plastic faux-plant. So long as you're OK with that, this plant should be considered a good value. ... show more
