After a lot of research I got this set up for my daughter who has sensory needs and LOVES to swing. When I first set it up I found that my doorway was slightly too wide for the vice grip. I looked on the company’s website to go buy the vice grip extender the assembly instructions said they had. Unfortunately I found that they were out of stock. I emailed the company asking when they would be back in stock. They emailed me back within 24 hours and offered to send me a set of new extenders for free since my purchase was within the warranty period. They were prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful! If you have a sensory seeker or a kid that loves swings, this is by far a fabulous product. We decided we wanted to place our swing in a different location than originally planned when purchased. Unfortunately, this new doorway was wider than the bar allows. I reached out to Gym1's customer service and had a received a quick reply. They do indeed have a wider bar option (which I hadn't been able to find) in addition to the extended vice grips we needed. Not only did they inform me that they produced the larger bar, they shipped out both the larger bar and the extended vice grips free of charge within a couple days. Definitely impressive! Purchased this for my 5 year old and she absolutely loves it. Was super easy to assemble and set up and the different options are great, but the rings are the current favorite! Definitely recommend purchasing.

Love this, helps keeps my 4 year old occupied and active very sturdy I have even played on it. The only issue with it, is the part that latches go the door won’t fit in ours it’s to small but it’s still very sturdy but she just can’t swing very high because it does move but other than that worth the money ... show more

I am very, very nervous about using this product because I rent my home. But my sensory seeking kids need more outlets, so I gave this a try when they weren't home. The only damage so far was putting the clip in above the trim to hold the plastic bar in place. I probably could have taken more time to avoid damage but it's above the trim where no one will ever see so I'm ok with that. Assembly took a fair bit of figuring out because the pictures of the screws do not match the instruction descriptions. It was also a very difficult fit to get a locking washer on underneath some of the nuts, but I got it eventually. Plan not to do this when your kids are in your face waiting expectantly. I tried out putting my whole weight on it (155lbs), swinging a bit, and wiggling and it did not budge or creak. I am pretty confident that my kids will be able to swing reasonably on this and not leave any damage. I will update later after they've tried it out a few times. The only thing I would point out is that you cannot close the door when this is attached, so be prepared to put it up, take it down, and store it somewhere when not in use. ... show more

I love this. Even though it’s complicated to install (in our older house without perfectly square doorways) it is still the best thing in our playroom. I chose this over one of those Swedish wall type gyms because of floor space and ceiling fans + room size. We’ve chosen to have this permanently up while quarantined this winter. The only drawbacks are: (1) it takes up a doorway so we have to move it out of the way like a curtain to enter the room (no real biggie), (2) only one kid can play at a time (bummer but an opportunity to practice sharing), (3) depending on how wild your kids are / what your space is like, there is a high chance of bonking into the door jamb (biggest drawback). However, even with these considerations my kids love this, they use multiple times per day. Attachments: Swing: excellent, the current favorite Ladder: hard to get used to at first (a swinging ladder) but it’s the current #2 favorite Trapeze: doesn’t function well as a trapeze because their isn’t enough space to get both legs over the bar (ages 5 &8), however it’s still fun to swing from using the handles - this is our least used Rings: these are great but my kids haven’t quite figured out how to really use these yet Climbing rope: fun, sturdy, but don’t get as much play as the others Verdict: my kids love it, and it’s a lifesaver for being stuck indoors. All things considered it’s worth every penny. I also think this larger set is worth the extra money verses the smaller set. ... show more
