  • White and bright
Color: Daylight White-4w
Replaced the original bulb in the IKEA lamp with this. The result is a daylight white color, nice and bright and cool enough to touch. Overall it is an upgrade for sure.

  • Exactly what we needed
Color: Warm White-4w
Very nice replacement of halogen bulbs. Used them in an older customer house - like how they are made and safe for handling

  • Finally...a bulb that works
Color: Warm White-4w
Have a lamp that's 20 years old and uses those old Halogen hot bulbs. Figured out which LED to switch to and these do in fact work. They are a bit dimmer than expected, but they run cool. So far so good, let's hope they last.

  • Change of heart - these work great
Color: Daylight White-4w
I had originally posted a one-star rating and said these bulbs were not flicker free, however, someone else commented that they changed their 12 volt transformer out for an LED friendly 12 volt transformer I followed suit and that indeed fixed my problem. With the LED friendly transformer, these bulbs produce great light and no flicker whatsoever. If your original transformer is for halogen lights, you need to replace the transformer to get flicker free LED output no matter which bulbs you choose. But I would now highly recommend these bulbs. ... show more

  • Made to last 1 year, absolute gargabge, do not buy!
Color: Warm White-4w
Anywhere between 6 month to 1 year after the initial install, they start to flicker. These are not on 100% of the time, more like 1 - 2 hrs per day. Save your money and the planet, we do not need more E-waste.

  • Bright Lights
We have ten outdoor light fixtures for safety that illuminate the 70 foot walkway to our boathouse. The quality and brightness of the original bulbs has lacking for years. We decided to either replace the fixtures or find higher wattage replacement bulbs. After some research we decided to purchase these LED bulbs which fit the existing sockets and provide excellent lighting. ... show more

  • Pins too thin, Flickered, Identical bulb to one sold by same vendor as another firm
Color: Warm White-4w
Note, by definition, your experience with this type of bulb will vary with the transformer used. Yours may not flicker or fit the pins, if so, then you might give a 4 or even 5. This is not a rating of the vendor. There's a separate rating section for that purpose. A bulb is a bulb and that is what I'm rating. To rate the vendor instead of the product can be misleading. I'll stick to the product.. Alas, that someone says it doesn't flicker OR says it does flicker is not of a predictor. Trying these bulbs for lamps not designed for their low load is the ONLY way to be sure. Will work in some, not others. That said, true, I wasn't going to give any rating and just eat my mistake but when I realized it was the same bulb sold by the same vendor under two different seller names, it pushed me over the top as my goal was to buy two different bulbs. My advice is if any bulbs look remotely similar, don't buy if you want a different bulb even if looks like they might be different. Could be same bulb sold by same vendor under different vendor names. I ended up buying the same bulb twice thinking two presumably different vendors were selling different bulbs though in fact, I found the bulbs are identical and both from the same company with same @163.com email address and identical packaging and labels (even the print of the labels). Hey group. It's really confusing to customers who are forced to experiment with LED bulbs to see if one flickers and another doesn't to sell the same thing with slightly different descriptions, one says no flicker, other doesn't, and one in a package of 5 and another in a package of 6. Be a customer, they will think they are somehow different as they experiment to see if a bulb works. Self-competition in LED bulbs? Wow, who would think? As to the bulb, first be warned that the pins may be too thin for your lamp. They fell out and would have jiggled even if the lamp pointed up, not down, and I had to bend and put a kink in them to get them to stay in the lamp. However, my original 6.35 halogen worked fine. The distance between pins is fine. I expected possible flicker. I didn't expect thinner pins. Pin thickness, flicker, sometimes moving to this bulb isn't worth the aggravation. However, they work fit tight if you use a needle nose pliers to bend and put a kink in the pin. Easy enough to do if needed, not harmful to bulb. Not a big deal but I should mention, some may be far more bothered than I was. This bulb flickers. Sure, there are many transformers out there but maybe makers should have been a tad more careful to make sure transformer variation didn't cause flicker variation (and stop saying no flicker when it might still flicker, for the buyer, no flicker means no flicker, not might flicker in your lamp), even up the wattage consumption to solve the problem if that is the reason, rather than customers searching for the one LED bulb that doesn't flicker, feeling like it is their fault. Electronic transformers shut off with no load and are confused with a very low load. Good they shut off for a halogen bulb that bursts, not so great for these new LED bulbs. The risk is higher if your lamp uses only one bulb., risk goes down as the same transformer drives more bulbs and uses more watts (as I'm learning). As to pins, it’s hard to know who to blame except the variety of light bulbs is unbelievable and now we have pin thickness differences on top of all the other complexities. Now my suspicion is any 4-watt LED bulb will flicker in my lamp but my frustration is I never got a chance to experiment. It was the same bulb, just sold by the same supplier under different vendor names. Now, who would think it was the same bulb? Sure, I just paid attention to the Amazon portrayal, placing the two bulbs side by side as different. Kind of think everyone would do that. NOTE: I have tried a few more of this bulb type and some do flicker less than this one but none that don't flicker at all and the flicker can come and go, because way below specs in wattage draw. If vendors aren't the same, they should try to keep this from happening (not sure how that would be done at Amazon, but it is done with regular 75-watt light bulbs (e.g., Westinghouse, GE), never been confused that I was buying the same thing but LED bulb brands are rarely given) though with same email ending, same packaging, same label, same print on label, I somehow doubt vendors aren't the same company. ... show more

Color: Warm White-4w
These were replacements for a T4 12v halogen bulbs in a high-end ceiling mounted system. However, one out of the 5 bulbs sent didn't work at all and the three that did light caused the lighting system to go into deep light fluctuations and hence were unusable. They may work in some installations, but not mine. Disappointing. ... show more
