Leather very thin. Had problems with them stretching. This evening (3rd use ever) they broke, leaving me in 35" of powder. At least the snow shoes can be used as treking poles at that point. I was wrong when I said better than nothing. I'd have been better off looping 550 cord around my boots. At least I wasnt in middle of nowhere ... show more

Never removed from original packaging until this morning, when I had to replace the 32 year old original moosehide bindings that broke yesterday. Tried to use these bindings. Very poor. Streached a great deal. We could not even get out onto the path before they streached to falling off. We tried to add additional holes but it did not help. Only good for show.
