These do a better job than toothpicks but best supplemented with floss (tape) and/or wood stim-u-dent. They collapse or break easily if much pressure is applied to push between teeth. Shouldn't really cost as much as they list for so shop around.

I think they've actually improved these! Now they're a bit thinner, which means less wear and tear on the rubber part and more penetration between my teeth. So they're both more effective and more durable, despite what other reviewers have said. I'm very happy with this product, and each pic, which I use before brushing or flossing to remove most of the bigger food fragments from between my teeth, lasts maybe a week or so before it begins to lose some of its coating. That makes a whole 150 ct pack last what, three years or so? What a value! ... show more
