My father was raised on a farm in Paraguay, South America in the 50's/ 60's where his Dad and Uncles all grew Yerba Mate leaves. So naturally they all drank it as a hot tea (old school way; wooden cup & metal straw to filter out the leaves.🧉) It tasted bitter but gave you lots of energy & mental clarity. Both my parents drank it when I was a kid, but they drank it cold in the summertime. (Wooden cup but poured over with a pitcher of Lipton iced tea w/ mint leaves, sugar & fresh squeezed lemon.) My point being? These energy drinks are amazing. Do they taste like my folks summer tea? Yep, maybe even better. My gal and I have been drinking them for 12+ years now. They really give me a boost of natural energy, focus and lift my mood as well. All the ingredients are naturally derived and it's not too sweet. 'Enlighten Mint' is my favorite but the Lemon one is good too. Red Bull & Monster drinks just don't compare. Most of them mess with your heart & blood pressure. I usually buy these drinks in the store at $3.39 a can. When I saw that you could buy them for less and have them shipped I was sold. Plus, I save about $4.00 doing it this way. The drinks are really good too with several flavors to choose from.

I love these Yerba Mate Teas! I found out about Yerba Mate a couple of years ago when I was searching online for a remedy to the Chronic Fatigue that I have been battling for years now. We all know the drawbacks of using caffeine for energy, but oftentimes it’s the only thing accessible. Well guess what? This Yerba Mate is a game changer! The energy boost is similar to caffeine in the fact that you are bursting with energy, but with this you also have good vibes all day long; the difference is there is no crash or jitters that I’ve experienced. Now I have been so wired that I’ve forgotten to eat before but I also use Saffron Extract Capsules for appetite control 🤷🏽♀️ so yea, I guess it’s working 😂👍🏽 I love this product, so far I’ve only tried revel berry, bluephoria, and tropical… out of those the Bluephoria is my favorite! Update: Guayaki contacted me, gave me a full refund and they are looking into the lot number to see why the case tasted so weird. Amazing company and customer service! I have been drinking this for years, it’s one of my favorite beverages. Decided to order a case to be set for the holidays and was so disappointed when I cracked one open and it tasted… idk stale I guess?? The flavor is so off from usual and it’s pretty gross. Apparently it’s also not eligible for a return so that’s frustrating because a case isn’t cheap. Don’t think I’ll be buying the case again, I’ll stick to getting it in a store. ... show more
