  • Easy to assemble.
Pros: I'm 6'3" 200 lbs but can sit in it comfortably with the seat slid all the way back. The pit was packed very well and arrived with no scratches or damage. It took me about 20 mins to unpack and organize the parts and about 25 mins for assembly. Assembly required only 2 allen wrenches, which were included in the hardware pack. The base of the unit seems very sturdy and should hold up under fairly heavy use. Cons: While I bought this pit to be used for VR exclusively, and only have a need for a single monitor - which could be any size monitor... If you plan on installing 3 monitors, they can't be much more than 27.5" (70cm) wide including the frame. This works out to about a 24" diagonal widescreen monitor. The monitor mounts are placed a bit too far forward of the pedals. If using the monitors, it would be nice to have the monitors placed at the rear of the pedals. While the base seems to be very sturdy, the monitor mounts will shake during play. I mounted the VR lighthouses on the left and right monitor mounts, and they shook enough that during play, they lost sync, and I lost picture in the headset for a second or so. My sim pit came packed in 2 medium large boxes inside one very large box. So, plan on having help when it arrives. ... show more

  • Very nice sim racing rig!!!!
Both boxes arrived in great shape and everything was packaged nicely. Nothing was scratched which is rare for heavy boxes. The stand instructions were pretty easy to understand with detailed pictures. The seat instructions you had to download off their website which was easy. Building the seat was the only mildly difficult thing to do. Really it came down to stretching the leather to wear it needed to go and zipping up the side. I saw a few people complain about no holes in the leather for the bolts, but that’s pretty normal. Leave the bolts in the holes and once you have everything zipped up just use a knife to make a hole big enough for the bolt head to come out. The brackets you bolt on cover the hole you made so it’s never seen. If they had pre cut holes you would have had to make seat perfectly to line up the holes. ... show more

  • Worth every penny
I give this setup 4 stars basically for one reason. The box and packaging was in pretty rough shape when I received it. The frame and pedal plates weren't wrapped very well and got scuffed/scratched up. And also the shifter mount is not in an ideal location(even though I'm not currently using it). Other than that assembly wasn't terrible, it is pretty sturdy once assembled and the seat is very comfortable. It does not come with any hardware to mount your steering wheel/pedals or your TV/monitors. The mounts for the TV/monitors use a VESA mount system with two sets of holes 100x100mm or 75x75mm. So make sure whatever you are mounting will work. I mounted a 42" TV to it which used a 200x200mm VESA mount. So I ordered a conversion plate from monoprice.com and used 1/4" bolts to mount the plate to the existing mount and then my TV used M6x25 bolts. I already had some but the conversion plate comes with bolts/spacers. I also use a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals and if you want to bolt them in place you will need 4 M6x25 bolts. 2 for the wheel and 2 for the pedals. Hopefully this helps with details I couldn't find. • Great Racing Rig
Excellent racing rig for the money. Very well built. Easy to follow instructions. oh and since a lot of sim racing veterans will like is there is little to no play when playing, very solid rig. Only thing I would ask to be changed is a tv mount that accepts larger then 40 inch tv's. I made my 50 inch tv work and it really feels like the right size for the simulator ... show more

  • Quality
Diamond plate floor scratched, and no holes in the seat leather for installing the frame.

  • Ok for a first sim racing rig
Pros: Easy assembly and everything fit together well. Logitech G27 wheel, pedals and shifter fit well. Customer service was excellent after first shipment was lost in transit, immediately shipping a replacement after shipper admitted item was lost. Ok deal for the price. Cons: Assembly instructions could be better. Wheel mount has some flex. Diamond plate has no support near the pedals and will easily bend if you don't add support (1" square x 18" long piece of wood works well). Monitors are too far away. No place for keyboard/mouse without purchasing optional tray. Biggest con; seat is very uncomfortable. I'm about 6' tall and 230 lbs and can't use the seat for over 30-45 minutes. It's too narrow and isn't padded enough. I ended up replacing it with a used car seat. ... show more

  • Very happy with this Racing Simulator
Very happy with this Racing Simulator. I have spent hours racing in long endurance races in it ,with no discomfort .I have noticed no wheel deck wobble or shaking of the attached monitor stand . The shift stand holder does not wobble back and forth as long as you have it tighten down. But like anything you race with be it car ,bike , motorcycle or a racing simulator cockpit check all your nuts & bolts to make sure there are no loose ones between and after you races. If you are looking for an affordable racing simulator you should check this one out, its not hard to put together and the seller has been great to work with on any issues about the GTSF Racing Simulator Cockpit Stand and I highly recommend this seller ... show more

  • Vague instructions, but extremelywell made.
The Good: Solid, and sturdy powder coated steel frame, comfortable racing seat included with risers, and glides, and mounts pre-drill to accept popular wheels, pedal sets, and shifters. Assembly instructions take some thought though.
