I bought this chair about a week ago and I was honestly skeptical because of the last "gaming chair" I bought from Amazon about 3 or so years ago (not this brand but the leather was cracking, screws falling out and not staying after re-adjustment). When I received this chair, I did take a few precautions when assembling it by putting locktite on all the screws, but what I love about this chair is that it is firm, yet comfortable, and I love the lumbar cushion. The one screw that holds in the foot rest I will say is concerning and wish there was a screw on the other side as well, but I suppose we will see how it holds up over time. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this chair. The instructions were clear, it was super easy to put together, you can lean back and sit up as far as you need, the fabric is extremely soft to touch; it is fantastic. If you are looking for the perfect chair as a gift or for yourself for the holidays, I highly recommend this one. ... show more

This chair is pretty good for its price point. It is not the most well-built as the backing feels like a peice of plywood that slightly “pops” back and forth between resting and up position. The aesthetics of the chair are very cool; my colleagues have commented during video calls that they like the chair design. I spend 8 hours a day sitting in this chair for work and sometimes 2 or so hours in the evening gaming or doing schoolwork. The bottom seat cushion is very good. Cushioning anywhere other than the seat is average at best. The reclining feature of the chair is also fantastic for gaming. There is a pop-out foot rest and the recline angle is highly adjustable. I almost always use the foot rest while gaming. It’s a great testament to the old saying, “you get what you pay for.” If you’re okay with a Chinese built knockoff bucketed gaming chair, it’s great. If you’re expecting it to compete with $300+ gaming chairs, you’ll be sorely disappointed. As an additional note, I can’t decide if it’s more comfortable or less comfortable with the backing pillow. The neck-rest pillow is great, but the backing pillow is basically there to reduce the cheap plywood feeling of the chair. ... show more

I paid $160 in total for my gray chair. Its smaller in person but honestly I'm happy it was smaller than advertised. Feels just like a padded bucket seat you'd find in one of my track cars! This seat is EXTREMELY well built. Compared to your other CHEAP options on amazon, I'd tell you to get THIS chair. The parts to build this GTPlayer Chair, are actually very good quality parts coming from china. Now how does that work? Good parts from china??? I said the same thing until I put it together! This chair has QUALITY in mind, Comfort at all new levels, and a completely different experience while you use it! I'm sitting in it right now writing this review! Its extremely comfortable, takes all of 10-20 minutes to put it together, and these wheels ROLL ON CARPET! I have longer style carpet threads in my house (soft carpet) and the wheels just glide like its on a cloud! It doesn't get stuck or try ripping the carpet corners up at all! And to top it all off, shipping took only 2 days from the day I ordered it! I highly recommend this chair, get it so you can game, work from home, and do anything and everything you need to do in this chair! I have back problems, and I don't even feel my back playing games in this chair. It's been seriously life changing for me personally! Firstly, I have a hard time believing the list price for this chair is $379.99. That being said I think the “discounted” price is worth it. It’s not the greatest thing I’ve ever sat in, but it could be so much worst. Assembly - putting the chair together was extremely simple and only took me about 40 or so minutes. The only complaint I have with assembly is the angle at which some of the screws have to be inserted. Other than that it was okay. Comfort - my first impression was initially a very good one. I was starstruck by this nearly $400 gaming chair I got for only $100!! What a steal right!? Then after about 2 weeks of use the $100 price tag started to look more and more like the listing price. The material is nice and comfortable, the chair overall seems durable, the seat cushion is very comfortable and easily the best part of the chair, the backrest is thin and almost has no cushion to it, the head pillow is okay at best, and the lumbar support isn’t exactly soft and at least for me causes discomfort after prolonged sitting. Footrest - oh boy the footrest. One of the bigger reasons why I bought this chair, and the biggest disappointment. It’s held on by one screw making it droop and seem flimsy. I’m 5’11 and weigh about 210, and when I’m fully stretched out my leg from the knee downwards hangs off the end of the footrest. Unless you’re 5’5 or below the footrest is almost unusable. I thoroughly believe the reason I’m so disappointed is because I thought I was getting a higher value chair for a budget price. If you go into buying this understanding that you’re spending $100 on a chair that’s worth $100, I think you’ll have a more pleasant experience. ... show more
