This LiFePO4 battery is so much lighter than traditional types including AGM and Gel. It really is amazing and a large step forward in battery capabilities. I really like the built-in voltage meter and charge level indicator. It has its own power button for turning it on/off. A full charge reads 14.5 Volts and 100% on it. The little silver metal button under seems to be some kind of reset button. So far I have not been able to tell its function as it doesn't affect the batteries output at all. Likely it resets the battery after a thermal overload or safety function is tripped and shuts off the batteries output. The battery arrived with an 80% charge at 13 volts. It readily took a charge from a NOCO charger set to Lithium. It didn't get hot or warm during charging. A battery tester read it to exceed its rated CCAs. So far so good with this tester unit. These are fantastic for applications where weight savings is a benefit. It is recommended to install shock and vibration reduction means for the battery if it is used in a mobile application. There are many rubber and shock absorbing pads available for batteries. I use them for my work trucks. There is a discrepancy between the listing and the sticker on the battery which lists the warranty at 60 months which is a very good 5 years.     • LiFePo4 Car Battery for Honda/Acura NSX
Size: Group 47-Button
BCI Group 47 battery, which is this product, fits a Honda/Acura NSX vehicle. It was easy to install. The battery has a nice handle, and the terminals fit like gloves. LiFePo4 batteries usually boast a lifespan of at least 10 years. So I am not sure why the SDULIBITIY company only warrant it for 36 months instead. What I really like is the battery status digital readout. It is located in the upper left side and let you know at a glance the charged state of the battery. When I received this battery, it was at 86%. What I don't like about the product is the poor instructions that came with it. The thin booklet said nothing about the status display nor the little silver button below it. I presumed that it is likely the reset button. Why a reset button on a car battery? My guess is that if the battery were to go below 20%, it will go into auto shutdown. You can then hit the reset button to start up the battery again. But it is only a guess as there are ZERO included instructions about that or the display or about the BMS control circuit inside of it. I would not have gotten this battery unless it had a BMS circuit because most charger including the ones in automobiles do not yet know how to handle LiFePo4 batteries. These types of batteries are the new kids on the block and a lot of battery chargers including stand alones will not handle them properly. LiFePo4 has a different charging profiles from either lead-acid or AGM batteries. One normally would not be able to simply replace your common auto lead-acid battery with a LiFePo4 one since the car charger would not be equipped to correctly charge up the LiFePo4. However, this product comes with its own controller which supposedly would make up for that lack. Maybe that is why they will only warrant it for 36 months. Finally, check the Cold Cranking Amps for your ride. The CCA on this is on the low 600 side. Despite the low CCA number, a LiFePo4 battery can provide 3X the instantaneous current (30 Amp vs 10 Amp) as needed. Therefore, one offset the other. Overall, I give this a 3.5 star. The lack of suitable instructions and the warranty that simply matches that of lead-acid batteries cost it two stars. But it got half a star for the nifty digital status display. ... show more

I had built a to-go box for my HAM radio. Problem the kit was heavy do to the sealed lead acid battery I powered it with. I replaced it with this lithium battery. What a difference! Much lighter, easier to carry, and because of the smaller size I have more room to carry extrat cables and connecters for my various antennas. I am slowly replacing all my lead acid batteries for lithium. Better batteries, charge more quickly, and you get a lot more charge cycles.
