We get strong winds and since anchoring it down, it doesn’t budge. The installation was challenging, as they move a bit while drilling them into the ground. Bought this to hold down my 14x14 canopy. Yea…I know…overkill. But they are solid. Heavy duty, slices through the ground like its butter, can anchor the Queen Mary. Quality product and a good value.

Overall length with the eye loop is 17 1/2". Length of the anchor portion is only 16". The spiral is not 2.76" diameter as the listing states. Barely 2 3/8" diameter. Otherwise they look nicely made and finished. For my application, holding a pergola down in sandy soil, I don't think they're going to cut it. A bit too small. ... show more

Product worked excellent to tie down a beach canopy until the 2nd day of our vacation when the sand got inside the anchors and the didn't want to spin. Had to rinse them with pressure and the spray wd 40 in them daily!!
