I have used it for few years to sow seeds. I couldn't be more happy with the results. It is much cheaper than seed mixing sold commercially, it's pure and consistent, it has good water drainage and much easy to handle and storage.

This stuff is great!! It's cheaper to buy in bulk, although if it could come cut in half that would make it even better. I do with they gave better instructions on how much water to add when expanding the whole block, but adding warm water 2 gallons at a time (from a watering can) lets me control how wet the coco coir ends up. FYI, I think it took appx 6 gallons of warm water. I'm using it as a soil filler (I add compost and worm castings to make it go further) I'm taking them at their word that it's been pre rinsed!! This is a great product and I intend to keep some in my arsenal of go-to garden items from now on. ... show more
