Firstly the only reason I gave it four stars is because for the price I feel the quilt should be larger. It’s a bit short on the sides even before washing. I washed it on the gentle cycle, dried it on low and I didn’t notice any fading but it did shrink a little bit. It’s so pretty and the details make it look like it almost could be an heirloom. I have washed this at least twice and it has held up well. It’s soft, it’s beautiful, it’s not heavy so need an extra blanket when it’s cold. It is generously sized. In hindsight I wouldn’t have paid extra and gotten the throw pillows . You could match almost anything to this.

I just received the comforter recently, so I have no opinions on how well it is made or how it will last. The comforter is pretty and I like it overall. However, as pictured it is a bit deceptive. It looks like they probably have a king sized comforter on a queen sized bed. They aren't actually "lying" as the dimensions provided for the king size say 105" but do the math. 105" minus the 76" width of a king bed leaves you 29" for overhang, so that is basically 14.5" for each side. If you have a very deep mattress and/or a mattress topper you are going to have a problem. Forget boxsprings. I only have a 10" mattress for the guest room, so this will be okay for me but it won't look as pictured on the photos. I really wish manufacturers would make a new size that is larger than "king" to accommodate the extra deep mattresses and toppers so you can size up a king comforter for that nice long look (and to make sure you have covers when you actually get people in the bed!) ... show more

I love the design and quality but I have a queen bed and wish it was a tad bit larger, it comes in full/queen and they tend to be a little small for my preference.
