I purchased the 12’x20’ carport. It arrived in four boxes over several days. It took 3 people almost an entire day to assemble. The bottom side rails are assembled first, followed by the roof assembly. The directions don’t indicate how to place the completed roof onto the vertical support tubes. We found that two people can lift one side of the structure high enough to allow a third person to attach the vertical tubing and then the bottom side rails. The process is repeated for the other side. Because of space constraints, we couldn’t assemble the carport in its final location, but the three of us were able to drag it over gravel to its permanent site. The tie downs that come with it are pretty worthless, but you can get rebar tie downs from Amazon that work well. Once completed, it’s a good looking carport. ... show more

The instruction booklet is good for inventorying all the parts and quantities, but gives enough details of how best you assemble it with labor you have. Mine was assembled with two men in two days time. We set tie down eyes in a half a bag of redi mix concrete. I used WD-40 Dry Lube to give lubricity to joints of the frame.
