I'm no expert craftsman, but I needed a simple planer to break some edges for a shelf I was building. It's a bit finnicky to get the blade the right height, since the adjuster is just a screw that holds it in place, so itss hard to make minor adjustments. Also, when I got it, out of the box, the blade could not smoothly cut end grain. I flipped the blade over so the bevel was on the other side, and it began to cut quite nicely. ... show more

My use for this small plane is limited to narrow pieces and fitteing doorrs, windows and refrigerators into narrow spots.... it is a great pocket planer for quick touch ups / very fine shaving. it is new and I hpe the blade is oe that keeps its edge with minimal maintenance.

    • Small planer, not expensive. It's not hi quality but after preparing the blad it will do the job
Small planer, after preparing the planer i used it for trimming. U can put it in your pocket. The thickness of the blade is very thin so it is very fragile and the adjustment of the blade is very straight forward- one screw is holding the blade and it's also the reason that the adjustment ,of the blade, is not accurate. ... show more

We need this to trim a bit the door that can not be easily closed. This little tool works perfectly. Nice tool to have around. But it won't do any heavy job
