This is a great, well known reference book for everyone. This one is leather bound and hardback to boot. It is 1096 pages about you-and me. In addition to the table of contents, there is an alphabetical list of illustrations and an index. I love the different ways of searching for information. I had an old copy of Gray's Anatomy that I somehow lost track of over the years. Now that I am back in nursing school and am building up my reference library again, this was a no-brainer. I love the feel of the book and it is as useful and enjoyable to read through as I remember. A must have.

I received the book rather quickly. Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck by how beautiful the cover of the book was. The leatherbound edition is pretty awesome and the raised cover illustration was very cool. I bought the book as a gift for my girlfriend, an R.N., and when I gave it to her, she was very impressed with the condition of the book (I purchased a used copy from a non-chain bookstore). It looked brand new. As a matter of fact, if I didn't know the book was used, I never would have guessed that it was, in fact, a used copy. As for the book itself, this collectible edition was incredibly beautiful and very impressive. The illustrations throughout the book are quite magnificent. So, ultimately, I was very happy with my purchase and my girlfriend was very excited to finally have this book in her collection (She has wanted to add this book to her personal collection for quite some time). The price was quite inexpensive (just a little over $40 altogether) and the book was in fantastic condition. So, suffice it to say I was very, very satisfied and very impressed.
