They are NOT water proof and the seams are not that strong. I have messaged the seller with no reply as of yet. (I messaged 6 days ago) I would NOT recommend This product or seller. I don't know in what universe these are considered water resistant. I bought this to protect from the sofa as my husband is occasionally incontinent after several strokes. Tonight he had an accident. I had him up and out of the sofa within 20 seconds. Pulled the slipcover off...soaked through. Didn't even slow it down. It is attractive, easy to put on, looks great, but failed in the whole reason I bought it. I may try treating it with 303 after it's clean and dry, but that defeats the purpose. ... show more

Got the loveseat and the large one. Fit them well, easy to put on. Pretty thin like a jersey bedsheet. For those complaining that they don’t fit, the covers are shaped like a cliche sofa and you shove your cushions and corners to fit that shape. If you get those corners into the “ears” and “arms” of the cover, it will stay put. For those that say the covers are too small, maybe your couch is too sunken when you sit on it. Measure the lengths/widths/depths while having someone sit on your couch to get the true max dimensions and order that one. The foam stoppers do pop out all the time, my dog thinks I’m hiding toys in there but it’s not a big deal. I may try using pool noodles or bean bags instead. ... show more

I was stoked at the idea of giving my couch a face lift, but be the result wasn't near as expected. The elastic at the bottom is tight enough to hold in the corners, but it just bows up in the middle exposing the couch underneath. You'd think this would have some sort of ties under it so that doesn't happen. So disappointed it doesn't cover it all. EDIT: We got these because our cat kept going in heat and peeing on furniture. Absolutely terrible, NOT as advertised, cheap Chinese crap which does not fit to ANY couch/loveseat/chair. There is no way you can perfectly (as it shown on the picture) fit to the furniture. I ordered what should've been the correct size for our sofa and loveseat but these covers must be made for slim stuffed couches and not made for 'fluffy' cushions as you can tell from the pictures. They are pulling badly, already see the stitching pulling and they don't go to the bottom of the loveseat or couch on the front or back. Unfortunately I don't expect them to last long. I can't seem to find a good way to contact the seller to see if I can return even though it's been several months ago that I purchased them, I only opened them today because we've been trying to use our other covers for a short while longer. I was unsure on how it would fit since the couch on the pic is different, but love it it fits great except the bottom that slightly show the couch but is nothing that velcro can't fix, there is not much fixing when sitting but there was not much sitting since it's not an active living room overall very satisfied..
