It seems that the "AMERICAN COMPANY - Family owned & operated in the Pacific Northwest" label is good for a higher price, but don't be fooled: this family had this product "Made In PRC". I guess they didn't want to spell out "People's Republic Of China".

I was very impressed with how easy it was to dig out weeds using this tool. It has a good feel to it. It is also very sturdy. I will be using it for quite a while this Spring due to the unusual amount of rain we received this year. April showers brings lots of weeds!

This is a great garden tool to help with weeding in a garden bed. It gets down to the roots so it’s easier to pull the weeds. I think it’s very well made and sturdy. It’s not super lightweight but not heavy either. I’m happy with it. It’s a little pricey but well made.
