  • Love these!
If you have large tiles or slab walls, these are great! Suction is really good and you can see with little red line whether to add pumps for more suction. They are the most stable I have come across for added stability in the shower. Well done.

  • One works
I’ve had replacement surgery on one shoulder and now the other arm is bad as well. Getting in and out of the tub was difficult and it’s my favorite way to relax. These seemed to be the answer. Just big enough to grab with my hand and strong enough to help pull me up. The one works flawlessly. Holds tight once attached and stays attached. The other one loses its grip within a few hours. You can pump the button and it attaches again but you best do that right before you plan to use it. I believe one is defective because the other grabs strong and it’s not moving. I think the company should send me another one that works. Other then that these are perfect, not to big and look nice. ... show more

  • Very strong grab bars!!
This product does what it says. I like that there is a red line indicating to press the button and increase the suction. I have had this product almost 3 weeks and so far I am very satisfied.

  • Grips well but protrudes a bit more than the others
My grab bars came as a pack of two so you can mount them in multiple locations as needed. The body of the unit is a little over 6" round but it protrudes about 4 1/2", which can be a bit much if you are putting it in, say, a narrow shower area. You have to make sure that the surface is flat and there are no grout lines in the suction area. In my case, it just fit into a standard 6"x6" bathroom tile. There is a little plunger you depress to pump the suction until the red line disappears and this worked well and took little effort. Once installed, the unit gripped very tightly and has held for several days. For actual use a little common sense needs to apply. While this bar grips pretty strongly, it is no stronger than the substrate it is applied to. I have seen soap dishes and towel bars pull away from the wall when they were used as makeshift grab bars so you should expect the same from tile mounted to the same wall. These will probably be OK if you are just using them to steady yourself by leaning into the bar but I would not trust them for lifting a person up. If that is your need, you should get the traditional metal grab bars firmly screwed into the wall studs. Since these grab bars are so compact and should fit most flat surfaces, I could see some other household uses: These might work as an extra handle for leverage with a stuck door or window or for installing a large mirror. ... show more

  • Used for a few months, these are wonderful!
Honestly as described and super easy to install. My shower is of the fiberglass plastic-y variety and for several months they have held my weight to get in and out of the bath/shower combo (with sliding glass doors) that we have in this apartment. Just check every so often, about once every 4 days for me, to see if a red line is visible on the button. If you see the red line, push the button a few times until it's gone- that's it. I really didn't expect something so secure and stable that relies solely on suction, but it really does and is still installed in the shower for the unforeseeable future. Just perfect! 5/5 ... show more

  • Worked well for beside the toilet hand grip
My father-in-law had a bad fall in November and when he was discharged from ICU and sent home from in patient rehab, we had to quickly outfit his house with some safety features. He has a super small bathroom and I didn't think his walker was going to fit, so we put these beside his toilet on the wall. They worked very well for him so he could pull himself up using it. Suction was good, it felt stable and safe. ... show more
