I recieved my GPD Pocket 2 Ultrabook on New Years Eve. It's a nice little computer. Extremely small and compact. One thing that I will note is that it runs VERY hot! The fan has run constantly and the body of the PC is hot to the touch. I don't know whether or not this is normal but I will determine that in the coming weeks. The system runs Windows 10 home which updated perfectly to the latest version. I was able to install MS Office without issues and connect to my Linux Samba server shares without issue. The keyboard has a slightly different layout than what I'm used to and it does feel a bit cramped but I think I can get used to it. The system is extremely small. This PC would easily fit into a coat pocket without any problems and uses a standard USB C cell phone charger for recharging the batter. This is a little computer that is perfect for busy professionals who want to keep up with e-mails or edit office documents quickly and on the fly. I would not consider it to be a daily driver.     • Beware of "additional" software
The hardware is great, very compact and battery life is good. However it does not come without hooks attached. I purchased my GPD Pocket2 directly from their Indiagogo campaign. The second driver link they sent out came infected with something Windows Defender picked as Win32/Tiggre!rfn. I am curious what other malware came on this system that was not detected, since it is custom. So if you don't have a problem with backdoors and viruses running on your system then that's a great product for you. ... show more

I had lots of difficulty getting the GPD Pocket to run Linux. The GPD Pocket 2 was MUCH easier.
