I hung two sets of these lights (300feet) about 20’ high around my property. Very awesome ambiance after dark!! For the pice I highly recommend these.. They are light weight.. my longest run is about 50 feet.. The wire is thin, and 50’ is pushing it without a support wire to hang it from.’But it does work., Next season I will add support when I hang them again after winter. Do have them plugged in when you hang them (if up high) To be sure all the light bulbs are screwed in all the way.. I did not.. lesson learned. I would buy them again. ... show more

Sometimes the truth is simple. They light up like lights do, the bulbs are a kind of plastic, so they won’t break, easily that is, and the “ clips “ hold well to where you clip them on to any surface. Lights are lights, they do what their meant to do.

Purchased these string lights to hang from the awning of our RV. They are very well made and sturdy!! Even Comes with a spare bulb. They are also not really bright to where they would disturb other campers but bright enough to light up your area. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these string lights!!

I live in rural Arizona where it is very windy oftentimes 30 + mph winds, and the lights are knocked around a lot I love that they are shatter proof.
