6'6' MH rod. Not as stiff as my Ardito travel rod, but at less than half the price, it is solid. Enough backbone to catch bigger fish. Very similar feel to my TFO rods, so it's a good value. I purchased the 8ft MH and 7ft Med action rods and I am more than satisfied. I have the 8ft paired with an Okuma Trio 4000 and the 7ft paired with a Okuma Trio 3000. I have used the 8ft beach fishing catching several Jacks, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. I can easily cast a 1oz spoon or swimbait, even though the rod is 4 pieces it rarely needs adjusted. And the 7ft has great sensitivity along with a good backbone. The only complaint is the guides are micro, especially the tip. I usually use braid with a floro leader joined by a double uni knot but the tip guide is so small the knot has a hard time passing through smoothly. I just spooled up with strait mono and it worked well. The pictures above were all caught on my last trip on the 7ft rod. Caught a few decent redfish, jacks, and a unexpected spotted gar while fishing in brackish water, also caught several ladyfish, mangrove snapper, spotted trout and small snook. The rods travel well, and I am actually able to fit the 7ft rod in the tube with the 8ft so I only have to travel with 1 tube. I was a bit hesitant ordering these rods, I was looking at the Okuma Citrix but I am pleasantly surprised and I plan to purchase a few more for my future travels. 2 years later I am still using the same rod and reel combos with zero issues. I pack them in my checked bag everytime I head down to Florida on fishing trips which is multiple times a year. Just got back and caught a slob of a Jack Crevalle on my 7ft M action. It literally pulled the boat around and stripped almost all my line off the reel multiple times and the rod handles flawlessly. Added a additional picture above! ... show more

Update. I contacted the seller and let them know what happend and they offered to send a free replacement so i will wait to receive the rod and retest it and update the review after Got these poles for a easy travel fishing rod and from the description and reviews thought yea should be a good pole right WRONG first use caught a small 7 inch sheep's head pole snaped right in the middle so okay Kool took the broken piece stuck it back in and could still fish then boom caught a decent sized fish (can't tell you want it was because of the rest of the story) then boom snaps into another 3 pieces yay so had to go and find a replacement pole for the rest of the trip useless and a waste of money ... show more

Got this rod because I wanted to fish while in Cabo next month and needed something that would fit in my 24” suitcase without spending too much but would do the job. I went with the 8ft spinning f/Mh w’ Fuji guides and must say that I’m pretty shocked and impressed with the quality. It’s well made, super light, and fits in my suitcase perfectly when diagonal using only the SOFT case. Assembled length is actually 96.75” but no biggie. Be sure not to push the pieces all the way in and just make it snug otherwise your can break the rod or make it impossible to take apart. See photo. Great rod for the price and 5 stars for me. Anyways, I mainly wanted to share the actual dimensions with everyone since I was wondering myself and the seller needs to stop saying to just divide the length by 4 because they need top include the section that goes into each end which is 2” for the 8’. Took the MH version to Louisiana to the brackish waters of the gulf. Laid into a school of 'specks' caught them one after the other the largest being around 14". After several fish (50ish) the rod came apart at the reel set. Suppose if I was just fishing bluegills it would've held up. Just as I was going to put it away, the final straw was (not the rod's fault) a shark hit one of the specks I caught & broke it in half. The case it came in is nice though... LOL Scott ... show more

I took this rod on hiking and kayaking fishing trip creeks in Tennessee. This rod was awesome it took beating drops on rocks , it handled big bites and fish. The is well priced rod with tough case as well . I also bought the bait cast rod and again very for throwing big baits it handle very as well, I didn’t get real chance to fish it long enough be -cause I dropped in river and it was too deep and . I’m so impressed with rods. I’ll be getting again soon. ... show more

rod was too thin for me. I actually had a different rod of theirs as well that was thicker than this one and the tip snapped from a pull test lol not sure if I trust goture. I didn't have confidence to keep it.
