Great garden cart! Assembly was very easy. Feels like quality materials and good design. Rolls very easily over grass, dirt and gravel. Used it for hauling failure wood to the back porch and stacks of empty moving boxes. Perfect size for planting potted flowers. The front wheels turn 90* so it is very maneuverable. It is lightweight and easy to dump material out. I like it better than a wheelbarrow as it is suitable for a wider range of tasks and is much easier for my wife to handle. I may haul small amounts of gravel and mulch in it but the 7 cu ft model would likely be better for moving large quantities of material. This size is perfect for flower bed gardening and general yard tasks. I could pile the firewood pretty high and the four fat tires kept it a fairly smooth ride. I had 5 cubic yards of pea gravel that needed spread around my yard. The pile was in my driveway and I needed to transport it around to multiple spots so I purchased this cart. It handled everything I threw at it which was impressive over a couple days I loved a few tons of gravel one load at a time. The dump feature was a back saver as well. It rolled well and it held up to all the weight I loaded (sometimes overloaded). It will be nice to have it for future jobs especially knowing how durable it is. Well, as of this writing, I have not used it yet. I just know I am going to love it; I hope. I am 70 and each year I have been using a commercial steel wheelbarrow to haul 3 yards of mulch from my truck to my landscaping up a hill and for other landscaping shores. Getting tired and wearing me out some. I was looking for something that would save me some time and be a little easier on the back. I purchased a different Gorilla product and loved the quality, material and quality. When I saw this, I thought this looked really cool and well designed. Much better than most flimsy box store carts for homeowners. I thought putting a little more money into this just might get me a more durable cart. When it arrived, I think I acted like a little boy getting his first Radio Flyer wagon, well maybe just a little like it. I started assembly immediately. Small parts are divided up in packaged sections designated for each step. Instructions are clear and simple. Less than 30 minutes later, I had my Radio Fly . . ., Uh, I mean Gorilla cart ready for a roll. Well, I had all my heavy yard work done for the year. So, I played with the latch where you can lift up cart and the back wheel retract, and the back edge of the cart will rest squarely on the ground making it easy to get all the contents (if I had any in it) out. This got boring pretty quick. I then noticed that the cart had channels formed into the sides of the cart similar to what pickup truck beds have on them to put in railing posts. The cart channels are only big enough for 1" (really 3/4") material. So, I got busy rounding up some old wood supplies and made 3 side panels (rail post holes are only on 3 sides of the cart). Now I am sure I can haul twice as much mulch up my driveway :o). The tires are filled with something that keeps them from deflating. I am not too sure how they will react when hitting bumps. Will it bounce too much or give enough on impact to not bounce contents out. That answer will have to wait. One issue I had was that I about lost the cart down the driveway a couple of times because of how easy it rolled. I know I will like this going up the driveway but holding it on an incline may be an issue. I am already preparing to use blocks or wedges to stop the cart from rolling away when it comes time to empty it. The cart tub material is a very hard plastic that feels like it will take a lot of punishment. Can't wait to see how it holds up to some mixing of concrete. I just might paint my adult Gorilla "Radio Flyer" red. ... show more

I settled on this awesome work horse after reading the great reviews for the Gorilla brand dump wagon and I have not been disappointed. Assembly is easy; wheels glide over various surfaces; bed raises for dumping and it's easy to pull. I am very happy with the value & quality.

    • A nearly perfect cart that just needs a few engineering tweaks.

This is a very sturdy cart, with extremely well-written, pictorial instructions (give that writer a raise !!!). I highly recommend the no-flat tires, after a lifetime of frustration with every pneumatic tire I've ever had on a wheelbarrow, dolly, or cart. Beware, however, that Amazon is going A.I. with prices these days. Just now, I discovered that I paid $20 less than the page that comes up when I check my order, but $60 MORE than what Amazon wanted just a few minutes ago. I gave this 4 stars only because a few simple engineering changes would make this The Perfect Cart: 1) Mine came missing the Grade 8 washer in their assembly Step #3. I had to go buy one & got a 5/8". Seems a 9/16" would be OEM, if you can find one; 2) The dump-arm of assembly Step #1 needs to be temporarily secured so as to not come unexpectedly loose and bang into stuff as you manipulate the cart for later steps. Mine first swung loose and the protruding bolt smashed into our floor, fortunately not breaking a porcelain tile, but it would've left a dent in a hardwood floor. Later, that bolt whacked into my shin, leaving a blood blister the size of a dime; 3) Finally, and most importantly, the cart needs a sturdy, inexpensive, SMOOTH, removable bed liner, to enable things like mixing concrete. GORILLA -- ARE YOU LISTENING? Do all that, and you would have The Perfect Cart. Buy one, use it for a lifetime, give it to your grandkids. ... show more
