When I purchased this camera In January 2024 it was awesome. It took great videos with amazing clarity and superior stabilization. In August the camera overheated and was never the same again. It began to have memory card issues where it was unable to record a video. I returned the gopro hero 11 mini back to gopro. They sent me a replacement and I continue to have issues. The replacement has a different issue 1/2 the videos I record are corrupted, Video Freezes and are unusable. I would not buy this camera again and suggest you avoid this POS. ... show more

So ran into a bunch of issues with this cam after using other GoPros in the past. First issue was it wouldn't sink with my particular type of phone which was fairly notable brand. The camera overheats extremely easily and then will turn off after 5 Seconds of video. And now I'm getting a error where it shows that the SD card won't work no matter which type I use. It was just over one year when I bought it so now GoPro won't warranty it ... show more

Howdy Yall -My Experience with Gopros is since 2003 I've been using them alot. I fly freestyle drones and this Gopro mini was purchased to replace a Gopro 9 black. First off I did not like the 11 mini it was bigger than I thought and the quik app I really never used also had to up grade it before I could us it. This 11mini is not compatible with my TV so I cant just plug in to the TV and watch movies and if you put the memory card in an older go pro like the 7-9 it wont read the files, so for all that its not near perfect! The main issues here for me as an FPV freestyle pilot is Size, Weight, Cost, But for the price point @ 200 and its shoots 5k superview mode with stabilization -I'll keep it. I like to shoot at 2.4k 60fps superview with hypersteady on and its does that with no issues, so far the footage I got the other day was amazing. The picture with the two gopros in it shows the one on the left is GP9black . Cons: Weight/ size ,battery, quik app, backward compatibility, setup, user friendly ness. Just never again. I hate it! Battery gets hot after 5 minutes of use. It dies after 30 minutes of recording that's if it doesn't overheat first. Can't attach anything to it. (for example a microphone) Battery is not removable so you have to plug it in and wait for it to charge or keep it plugged in while recording. It's ok if you are stationary and have an outlet handy. But that's the least of the problems. Refer back to the first sentence. I wish I hadn't got this piece of junk. Oh it also kills memory cards. ... show more

This item in very short order had a screen that didn’t work, became very hot while charging, and completely failed to turn on after installing an Amazon basics SD card. GoPro says that using an unapproved SD card caused it to fail, and was unwilling to replace it since I bought it used. I’m sure the used seller on Amazon knew it was defective before offering it for sale. ... show more
