I've been looking for a good device to hold my phone for when I'm on the golf course. Both so I can read yardages and also take selfie videos or photos. Many other devices are cumbersome to connect to a rented golf cart. Also, connecting or removing the phone if you need to grab it for phone call or something can be a pain. This device completely resolves all of that! The clamp jaws open to maybe 3 in thick. That means they can go from holding a walking golf cart handle or rented golf cart windshield support down to a small golf alignment stick. Very fast, simple adjustment of the clamp to whatever size you need. The other problem I've had that this resolves is that I have a Samsung S22 Ultra in an Otterbox case. Most phone holders can't grab a phone that large with a case still on it. This spring clip grabs it easily and securely. So it's really quick and easy if I need to grab the phone to check a call or text message and need to step away from others at the cart. Or in my case when I need to use the NFC to tap my golf club so that it registers in my golf app which club I'm using. I have to do that any worse from 3 to 4 times or more per hole. So with this design it's easy to get to the back side of the phone quickly and easily. One of the other nice features is that the ball swivel at the head where the phone is held is nice and tight but you can swivel at 360° so you can go from portrait to horizontal without any big deal. The flexible shaft is nice and firm and holds the weight of my phone even fully extended without issue. I'm really impressed with all the features of this device. I was a little hesitant in purchasing this but was very surprised how sturdy this is. It actually is a little hard to maneuver it how you want it at first but I’d rather that than it being flimsy. Works great for hand free recording.

This is a robust phone holder. Used with a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and had no problem holding it up. Gooseneck is very strong, perhaps too strong as adjusting is not easy. You really need to use some force to turn it. The clamp that holds the phone is also robust and works well to hold the phone. The clamp that connects to the desk/table works well. I wish it was not plastic. The only issue I can foresee is overtightening and stripping the threads. That being said, seemed to work well to hold the phone. ... show more

I am pleasantly surprised by how sturdy this is for the price. This is heavy duty and holds the phone very well, without sagging. I LOVE the grip for the phone! Having it be a clamp that you squeeze is the best idea ever. Other holders use those fiddly side-griping ones that you have to pull out and they never work well. Attached securely to my desk and holds my iPhone up out of the way and handy when I need to see a notification. Shakes a bit when trying to text while it's in the holder. That was just me experimenting... the flexible neck would obviously give a bit, but the neck is fairly rigid and won't slip out of whatever configuration you wrestle it into. ... show more

Updating my review as Saiji got back to me after my original review was posted. Saiji did replace both my broken gooseneck cell phone holders, so they stood by their warranty, which I appreciate. The response was not timely, so if you are trying to reach them, keep that in mind. I don't like how challenging it is to find out how to contact them, nor the delay in getting a reply, but I respect and appreciate that they replaced both broken products. As for the product itself, it touts a stronger arm, which is likely true, since the arm is slightly thicker than the gooseneck product I purchased where the gooseneck itself broke. That said, the clamp for the phone is not durable, as that's what broke, in separate places, on both mine. The stronger gooseneck is supposed to limit the amount of wobbling the phone has, and I think it actually accomplishes that. This is not a bad product, but I can't say I'm thrilled either. As long as you know what you're getting, and that Saiji's customer support will likely be slow to reply if you do need to contact them, go ahead and order one. It'll do what it says. - - - - Original Review: Frustrated with two separate clamps breaking and Saiji not replying to my request for support Buyer beware for anyone who thinks they are buying a product that will be supported for the next 18 months. I've gone through a few options with gooseneck tablet/phone holders, and while this isn't a bad product, I'm definitely frustrated with the two Saiji gooseneck phone holders I purchased. Before I get into the breaks themselves, I want to start with the frustration I have with Saiji's support: This product's description says, "✔ 24 Hours Customer Service - Any question about SAIJI cell phone stand, please contact us via E-mail first time. We have a replacement with 18 months and professional customer service support." But there's no e-mail listed on the product page. Clicking on the hyperlinked "Saiji" just goes to the Saiji store page, and also includes no info on how to contact Saiji. Fortunately, clicking on the hyperlinked "Saiji" in my order gives me their seller page (https://www.amazon.com/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=1&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=113-1509080-3239457&seller=A20QQOGPQZ0N7U&tab=&vasStoreID=) which states the following: "1-year warranty for quality-related issues... Contact Us E-mail: saijistand@gmail.com Support Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm PST" So, which one is it? 24 hour support, or M-F 9am-5pm PT support? 12 month replacement as long as Saiji says it's a quality-related issues or 18 month support? Either way, I wrote Saiji after my first phone holder of theirs broke. I still haven't heard back. I followed up with a second e-mail, that I also haven't gotten a reply to. Their second Saiji phone holder has broken since then. These is not the most durable things in the world. Not just Saiji's phone holders, but all of the sub $25 goosenecks for tablets and phones. That said, this product is one of two that I have purchased two of, and both the Saiji's broke, while both the tablet/phone holders (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PT3T8TV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I have continue to work. I've been stuck on my back for a few months with an injury, and that's why I have multiple gooseneck holders (see the image included with the review) hanging over my head to allow me to use four devices simultaneously. Using these daily means I probably have more experience with various gooseneck tablet/phone holders in the last two months than the after reviewer has over the lifetime of their order. Any criticism (devices wobble after touched, gooseneck is stiff to bend, gooseneck droops after tablet is seated) of this product is going to be the true for the other goosenecks, at least at this price point. This is not a horrible product, it's acceptable. But as you can see in the photos, both my Saiji cell phone holders have broken in different spots. (Both are temporarily fixed with super glue.) It's just not a very rugged plastic arm that clamps on both sides of the phone. If Saiji support were responsive and replaced both their gooseneck holders as they advertise, I'd be happy and give this product a higher rating, but neither the product durability nor the support are acceptable, and as such I'm giving it two stars. ... show more

I have been thru several phone holders, this is by far the best one. It's sturdy and actually holds the phone where you put it, no seeing it an inch or two higher because when you let go it's going to give a bit from the weight of the phone. It stays. Worth the money
