This light fixture looks great and matches my space perfectly, but it is so so dim. I've tried several different bulbs. It works because it's used to light an entry way but if you need it to brighten up a room look elsewhere.

Unfortunately our contractor accidentally installed the fixture with incandescent bulbs, as he didn't know it was LEDs only. Sadly, this melted the plastic shade part, as the listing indicated it would. The seller responded quickly to our concerns and offered to send a replacement... awaiting that now. We are very appreciative, since it would have been costly to have to buy a new fixture and pay again for another contractor to install a replacement. The fixture itself is modern and beautiful... a tiny bit dim, but still very pretty and just what we were looking for in our half bathroom. UPDATE: The replacement we received also had a shattered shade. The box literally had the words “returned-broken shade” written in marker on the box, from where the previous customer had returned it for the same reason!! After much back-and-forth with the company, they sent yet another replacement. This shade also had a small crack in it, but we did not think it would be visible, so we tried to use it. Unfortunately, this shade would not fit onto the existing fixture, no matter what my husband and I did to it! In the process of (VERY carefully) trying to fit it onto the first fixture, it too shattered. So frustrating! At this point, I’m just going to have to find a different light fixture and pay my electrician to come back and switch it out. Three strikes and you’re out. The light is beautiful and the fixture part is fine, but the shade is the biggest piece of cheap plastic crap ever. Such a shame! It could be a really beautiful and functional fixture if they would just fix the shade flaws. ... show more

This is no way appropriate lighting for a small room. I sure hope I can find brighter bulbs that this can handle, even though I already installed the most powerful they recommend. It is useless as a ceiling light although it looks nice in the room. Three weeks later… I ended up installing 60w equivalent LED candles and this worked!! I am paying attention to see if they get too hot… but so far so good, and now the light level is fine. ... show more

This is the second one of this same fixture I've bought, and I really like them because the light they cast is very ambient rather than direct. The shade diffuses it just enough. The gold/brass is sort of champagne rather than bright, kind of a satin finish. My husband says they're very easy to install. My only "con" is that they take candelabra bulbs instead of regular E26 ones. ... show more
